Display driver stops responding

I think that's basically what the error message said. "Display Driver has stoppped responding" and then sometimes it says it has recovered but either way i have been kicked out of the game.

I have a pretty new PC that should be able to handle these things:
AMD Phenom 9950 Quad-Core Processor 2.60 GHz (32 bit system)
4 gig RAM
2 x NVIDIA GeForce 9800GT set up with SLI

Any kind person know what I can do to fix the issue?

And yes running Vista 32 bit

edit: the confusion might be the page you linked me to had a post that listed that the initial information was the wrong way around. So, did the OP edit and swap them back? OR should I be listeening to the later post?

i have already run the hotfix but i still have th issue. Before the last patch i could play fine, now i can't even log in without the game completely crashing.

I had that problem with my GTX 260. I updated my drivers to the newest on the NVidia site and reinstalled Direct X 9, and it has not occured since. I don't know if these fixed it but I knew there was an issue with something when I could not run the Physx screensaver on the NVidia site. I did some googling and it told me to reinstall direct x to fix THAT problem. Those are the only things I hafve done differently and now all of a sudden I have not had the error.
