Upgrading Tyrant

Ok, so I know this is a very old issue, but Tyrant (being that he is the anti version of Statesman, who is "supposedly" stronger) needs to get a very powerful upgrade. If it doesn't happen with Going Rogue it needs to. The guy is possibly the biggest joke of the Praetorian AVs in being that if he spams his explosive Laser BEam Eyes you're not going to leave that fight with much more than a laugh or two.

My ssuggestion for fixing him would be

-Giving him the Hammer of Justice power that Statesman has, yet, just like good ol' States, he wouldn't use this until about 35% health.

-Allow him to cycle through melee and ranged using the same code the Bruiser has (if that's possible)

-Giving him Nova (This one I just kinda wanted to see because he could use an AoE, and plus it feels Tyrant-ish since he lacks Foot Stomp like Statesman)

-Dare I say it, giving Tyrant Build Up. (This is crazy and is probably just the inner "zomg a beast of an AV!" call coming forth")

-Giving Tyrant access to more Invulnerability powers if seen fit. A couple examples would be Unyielding and Temp Invuln. The greatest fit would be giving Tyrant Dull Pain.

That's all I've got basically. It's just a shame to see a "powerful" AV that's actually laser eye beam toting weirdo that's also a megalomaniac and stalks Statesman. The devs probably already have a fixed and hellacious Tyrant in Praetoria for Going Rogue, and if so then it's been long overdue.

I don't think he has it, canonically speaking

In the comic, when Statesman used it in a fight against him and his lieutenants, it seems to take Tyrant by surprise.

Beyond that, I'm generally against making signature characters more powerful than they already are.

Hmmm, you seem to be right there. Curse me for overlooking the comics

And I guess maybe just the Laser Beam Eyes fix is all he truly needs (plus Dull pain would work well).

Thanks for telling me about that comic info, I had no idea.

Energy Torrent could be a better match, depending on what he's supposed to do.

I'd like Tyrant to have some Summon powers... Say summon Underlings, and he'll get two armored guards to his aid. That would be something better than Statesman, for me, at least.

While I wouldn't mind seeing Tyrant get a bit of a makeover, I'm not sure I want to see him become unbeatably strong, because he still has to be beaten solo in the Hero's Hero arc

What's more, Lord Recluse the elite boss is also pretty weak, and would be a pushover if it weren't for the legions of Bane Spiders he summons. It seems generally evil isn't as strong as good, but evil also cheats, so it balances out. Could we maybe make him cheat instead of being super powerful?
