Yes, I'm sure this isn't the best place to ask but as of this morning I have been having issues using Google on my computer. It'll take a while to search stuff and then the results aren't very... Google like. Anyone having this issue? I have posted a screen shot...

I'm just kind of... worried since it's only doing it on my PC. X.x

Also, at the bottom I notice some weird URLs being searched/used...whatever. I have highlighted it at the bottom of my screen shot.

I'm afraid you have some nasty adware or something else cray messing up your browser.

Like you said, that's definitely not "Google-like". My Google doesn't have a Shopping link, but has Gmail and Video links at the top, and well as a "Show options..."

Shopping and/or news is usually listed as the first couple search entries.

And searching for "google" turned up about 2,650,000,000 results for me, not just 20. lol

NoScript

If you are using Firefox this is the best add-on you can have to help prevent mal-ware. It prevents scripts from running until YOU tell NoScript they are safe to run. But that is to prevent future problems.

What you need right now though is HijackThis, to tell you what is running. You can post it here to get some assistance in figuring out what to do also.

Ya, it seems to have been a bug but I did a restore point back to Wednesday and it fixed it XD

NoScript huh? That sounds promising. I have always hated how many sites have little java script ads and stuff...

Post your HijackThis anyway, sometimes restoring doesn't get rid of this stuff.

Sounds like vundo to me. Try Avast and Malware Bytes - they seem to wok pretty well when AVG fails. Spybot search and Destroy is pretty good too.

I am an ebil markeeter and will steal your moneiz ...correction stole your moneiz. I support keeping the poor down because it is impossible to make moneiz in this game.
