getting interest right now mac, most of the rules will follow standard match rules - can hammer out the details, get votes on dr on or off, ts on or off etc. Typical no two stalker teams, vengence yes or no, all maps, no MC, Troll caves, office ...etc.
K so thinking about it rather than a ladder - it would probably be better set up as a rolling tourney. Depending on sign ups - say we got 32 - we pick a day and time the matches will happen - say sunday at 8:00 est. (just as an example)...
16v16 random matchups - winners advance, losers see you next time.
8v8's winners of each respective match the week before face each other (like a pokemon tourney baby!)
and so on till it's team x vs team y for the champ.
a week or two off for bragging rights and do it all again - sign up, then roll the tourney. that way if you hate your partner you can get a new one next time, even if you won ;P...
I think a set date is necessary - forces mathces to happen, people can forfeit and still compete again in a week or two..and the potential for new number one teams every few weeks...or the uber duo who holds on to the title tourney after tourney that everyone wants to beat...

If DR is off there will be a bunch of 0-0 ties. Throw an emp on a team and both people are at caped res and either caped or close to it regain. 2 unkillable teams fighting each other reminds me of a nerd fight in high school. A lot of punches/slaps thrown and no real damage being done.
I think it can be done.... You just have to have a good killer. And a good emp aka Monkey! any ways Im up for DR or No DR i dont care but if it dont have TS off i aint gonna play cus that is the most retarted thing put in this game....

I'd toss in a vote for TS off, DR on. DR off you could just bring two therms and never die. DR on has its own set of problems but I really think that for duels and small team matches DR on is the better solution, at least until we have an option to remove the stuipid base resists.

I think since we are in issue 14 we should go by "their" rules. I think this should be held with the same options as a zone with TS on. We will get more non test pvpers this way. It also isnt really fair to a MM if we get rid of TS.
