This is madness! I love my Spines/DA, he goes to the Storm Castle regularly and destroys 8 man spawn groups of wisps and brutes.

Gladiator's Armor: Teleportation Protection It's a PvP IO, meaning it can only be gained from PvP or purchased at Wenworth's. It also means it has additional bonuses during PvP. In this case, the "Teleportation Protection" is only applicable during PvP. In PvP and PvE it grants 3% defense to all.

Part of the issue is that it is a very top heavy set of abilities. You don't see the real benefits at lower levels that you do with some of the other sets.
I only started playing a month and a half ago and started with a claws/DA scrapper. It was a trial by fire but I haven't really had en issues with any other class after learning how to manage it on Aoko.
