controller?
straight up mez kinda sucks in pvp, so you should more focus on the targetted secondary effects. and realistically if ur planning on fully IOing anything for pvp they all cost upwards in the bil+ range.
ive never spent a bil+ on a toon for pvp. it all depends how you play and want to set up your toon. i have 6 very capable pvp toons that at most on 1 ive spent 400 mil and thats fully io'd out.
I've barely noticed the differance between fully IO'd toons for set bonuses and toons frankenslotted to maximize slot use.
DR is a [censored].
Some builds may see more benefit than others, but the only things i've noticed worth aiming for now seem to be + HP, Dam, and those generally come pretty early in set bonuses.
and +acc with +recovery on endurance heavy builds
um, if you're wanting a pvp controller, it really depends on your tactics, if you plan to take out a couple of brutes
my fire/kin has actually been kicking more [censored] than I thought imaginable, that was after I learned how to efficiantly use transference as an end drain on the enemy instead of an end gain for me
I've seen an ice/therm in RV for the past few days, and they've actually been doing very well. They took the first heal, melt armor and heat exhaustion, I'm not entirely sure how the rest of their build went...
I would suggest ice/therm, I believe having those three key powers out of therm will allow you to take many other pool powers, such as fighting and leadership
I think ice/rad would be a pain in the butt, mainly because I think that you would need a lot of end reduction throughout your build, or you would need to debuff your villain and and kill them quickly, but ice doesn't necessarily give a whole lot of damage...
I don't know... Ice/therm is appealling to me more for some reason
Ok, I wanna make a absolute pvp toon but cant decide on the build.. I have seen alot of ice/rad but i hear they coast like 2 bill so i was told a /therm... what is overall better in zone not arena and if ice/therm is a good build can some one give me some heads up possibly a build?
