High Customization

With competition coming in the City of Heroes can not be left behind because of the details, so bring a project to evaluate the DEVS on an area of the game that I identify a lot, which is the customization.

My first observation on the customization is limited compared to some other games, such as changing the eyes, the expressions of the face, changing only one arm, leg or side of the body, change the color of power and have more freedom in changing of physical characters.

Well, to improve so I thought of something known as "Tailor respec", what would it?

The Tailor respec, is acquired with a TF or mission or the DEVS decide what will be ... in the char supplementing it can change the height of your char, that for some is a big problem because many times your char is very small or larger than other chars and then becomes something out, that help to those level 50 which does not like the height of your char, and is sorry for delete it.

About the changes:

Some players want to leave your char very different and the choice of changing only one arm or leg would be great if applied to the Cox, another thing is the changes of the eye and can only put one wing.

Hair:

Well, I know design and have some good tips on styles of hair that could put both DEVS for girls and for boys, then soon I will put some pictures here.

Clothing:

I think the packs are quite nice, but there is a shortage of clothes in Cox, mainly young clothing style, double as belts, jackets tied at the waist, can put earrings in both men and in women,
jackets and trousers torn, among other things ...

Well, just as I am designing some type of hair, clothes and accessories and hope the DEVS does not bother me to put them here.

Thank you for your attention and hope to be heard!

You will want to read and perhaps repost this in Sexy Jay's costume thread up in the Dev area. They do read that thread. Not so much here. If you do a search for some of your ideas, you'll find many of them have explanations as to why they aren't in the game.

I agree with the OP. With certain games coming out with 100 times more customization then CoH Ever will, the Devs might want to step it up a bit. It doesn't help that the people designing 'that' game created this one, and know how to top it.

oh snap! you just got served..i think...but ya.. Champions online isn't any thing special. Other then being able to change whats on the left/right of arms/legs hey have nothing. And the tails/backpacks. And the added detail in the costumes. But other then that nothing. I haven't logged on to it in a few months so it might have changed but the game doesn't look all that good. trust me the Because CO is doing it thing isn't a very good argument.

Actually, no. They didn't.

The City Of people have been working on City Of. They all stayed with NC when Cryptic split away from them to work on Marvel. The people working on Marvel were, to my knowledge, never the same as those working for City. Plus, the hirings at Paragon Studios have ensured new blood coming in, whereas we do not know who the developers are of CO / Marvel and might never... They might be experts, they might be complete and total nubs. To my recollection there were very few if any crossover employees.

And still remains the fact: just because they might be doing something - regardless of how cool you might think it is? Doesn't mean this game must do so to "keep up". That other game - and any future releases for that matter - will have to keep up with City of Heroes. Which, I would like to remind you has a 5 year *live* history, and devs who actually are responsive and very real people.

I can't say as much about any other game.

Oh - wait, one of my friends does work for Blizzard on WoW. But he was hired only a couple years ago, and wasn't on the dev team.

Well IIRC everyone except for Jack is still here from the original team. If they are not they quit... or somethin... I don't remember.

I remember someone - redname - saying that pretty much all but one or two stayed with the studio. Remember they were short handed even then, not as dramatically as before, but still.

Well, it was actually all of the current team that stayed, save for Jack and I believe one other. Most of the people that actually created/worked on CoH initially (Poz, Geko, etc) are still with Cryptic. Luckily, I believe they decided to keep Geko away from the power balancing in CO.

"the reason there are so many sarcastic pvpers is we already had a better version of pvp taken away from us to appease bad players. Back then we chuckled at how bad players came here and whined. If we knew that was the actual voice devs would listen to instead of informed, educated players we probably would have been bigger dicks back then." -ConFlict
