.... Several years ago the COH licence was already picked up for a movie. Search is your friend, even if you have to use Google for it. No progress seems to have been made on said film, but the licence is already out there.

This wiki article says the movie is already in pre-production. If it's true or not that's up to you to decide. Personally i hope it is because i have grown to love the coh universe and would kill to see a movie of it made. How well it would do thought idk. But as the devs have been saying the company does seem to have put a lot of emphasis behind the COH brand lately so anything is possible.
I would be VERY surprised if City of Heroes ever became a movie. Even with the rights and such out there.

Agreed. Fairly cheap to purchase the rights. Much more expensive to make the movie.

I will be very exicted to see I13 Fight Club combat duels, sidekick adventures Pling, mofia style marketeering at WW/BM and MA ticket farming on the big screen.
They should call the movie "City of We Forgot What It's Like To Be A Hero And We Can't Do That But We Will Get To That Other Thing Many Many Issues Down The Road".

As we know CoH makes a ton of money from there games and other products right! Well how about a movie it would be for all the CoH fans and tons of other PPl would go see it! If CoH made a movie they would make even more money then they did before! If any of you heroes think this is a good idea plz comment back!
