Things as they were, Tsaiv and Tornado stepped into the snarl of murk, vanishing beyond the event horizon of the dark energy gateway. The six 'Ralf' drones followed shortly after, the malfunctioning cloak giving a brief blink as it was disrupted before entry.
The dark gate itself didn't linger, its natural instability returning, the perceivable phenomenon dispersing once again into thin air, as always leaving scant trace that the conduit had ever existed...
