Needed: List of maps removed w/ 5/5 patch

I can understand how if a map has a significant error in it, it needs to be fixed. What I have a problem with is how this was implemented.

I have a published arc that's been up for weeks. All of a sudden I get a batch of zero star no comment ratings and I'm wondering why. A friend runs the arc and mentions to me that enemies are disappearing and appearing - which I know occurs when you've got more items on a map than it can hold. I go and edit the arc for the first time in weeks and I see that the burning forest map is gone and has been replaced with the ruined Atlas map.

Gee, thanks.

It would have been nicer to render the arc "invalid" than to leave it up and running with a different map subbed in for the removed map. A notice in the patch notes that certain maps were being removed would have allowed me to address the problem myself.

How hard is it to say "We're taking these five maps out because they need to be fixed. We'll have them back as soon as possible, please be aware than any missions using these maps will have issues until this occurs."

I still haven't seen any official announcement that that's what happened. If this is a bug, then I have a huger issue - my map was randomly replaced with an incorrect map! That's a MASSIVE bug.

I'm going to unpublish the mission since it's now unplayable and there's no way for me to write around the map since it's core to the entire arc but from my end, this stealth removal of maps while leaving the published missions using those maps still running and playable is a massive fail on the part of the devs.

It's so awesome how no official source will even comment about this. Why pay attention to a small section of people trying to use MA as intended when you can instead make a big scene about retroactively punishing people for using your software the way you made it.

If maps have a problem, even if we don't know about it, then okay, drop the map, fix it, and put it back. Preferably, do that in the same patch, so we won't notice it missing (though it might have a different ID number on it, so we'd still have to Edit an arc to fix it, like how costume parts would get changed, even though the end result is the same).

Identifying and fixing the problem might not be a quick and easy task. The whole thing is still pretty buggy and "in development", by say September I bet everything will be going much more smoothly.

With the state of base raids, COP trail, items of power, I'd say 2 years from now.

But that's just me.

Well, hell, my arc starts on the burning forest map, since the first mission is taking place shortly after a large battle and the idea is to eject the attackers from an advance base they're trying to set up. Good thing I haven't done the other 4 missions in the arc yet. Shot about 60 hours to hell until they give the map back.
