I can't access my MA mission
I'm experiencing this, but just on doing any random MA arc, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. There are a few arcs created by some of my friends that I am able to play and some that I can't. I'm guessing a bug w/ today's patch.
Mission Architect arc: The Hive Connection, Arc ID: 96660
Triumph: (@UltraBatz)
UltraBatz, lvl 50 MA/SR Scrapper (1355 badges)
UberBatz, lvl 50 Peacebringer (769 badges)
SG: The Steel Paladins, Fusion Force
Don't think it's just today's patch, I've been experiancing this for a little over a week.
"My inner mind has become a reality-cracking overgod. He torments me! Help!"
This will happen if something in your mission was made invalid by a patch.
Try editing it, and clicking on each mission until you see that yummy orange box.
Failing that, make a minor change and try to republish. You should get an error message then.
That blue thing running around saying "Cookies are sometimes food" is Praetorian Cookie Monster!
Shoot on sight, please.
Something in today's patch changed the way architect sees html ... again.
I had the same problem and when I edited the arc it was having
=>
in one text field in one mission. Literally ... equal sign greater-than sign.
I changed that to ... strangely enough ... =>
and it worked fine when republished.
-shrug-
So, I advise you edit the published arc & see what gets flagged in the 'Find Errors' pop-up ... it's going to be something small, trivial and annoying - but easily fixable.
Do you have an NPC using the "Captured (Energy Field)" animation? They've changed that animation. This is causing arcs to not start, but it doesn't flag the arc as having errors when you go in to edit it.
Edit your arc and republish it. You can select the new "Captured (Energy Field)" if you want, or leave it at the default starting animation. When you republish it, it should be accessible.
Some maps were removed; so if you had a mission that used one (and I did); you have to go in and chose another map; and make sure the new map is big enough to hold what you put on it too.
Also, if you had any signature NPCs in you arcs as Allies or Captives; their default Bio text is too long and has HTML characters the MA Validation code doesn't like; so you need to go in and delete the Bio text until just the 'default' button remains, and then hit 'Save/Test' or 'Republish'.
If any Devs are looking over threads: PLEASE consider listing any MA Maps you removed IN the patch notes - you don't need to say WHY; just say 'Map <insert name here> removed.'
It would make fixing Arcs post patch SO much simpler.
Thank you.
It was the NPC captured in the energy field. I reselected the option and now it works.
I very much appreciate everyone's time who responded.

ARGH! Thank you! I couldn't figure out why my published arc was not working. It showed no errors when I went to edit it but I couldn't play it either.
Meh.
I get the "Accept" or "Cancel" buttons. Click "Accept". Nothing happens. No contact, nothing.
This is not a farm. It's a 5-mission arc I published as my first attempt at creating a good story to play.
What gives?
