Honestly. How hard is it to add an option to periodically save to a backup file?
Sometimes you just get into a creative trance and you focus on getting to the next stage...then the next one...then the next one...then a power outage.
As a writer, its happened to me more than a few times...before there was the auto-save feature.

Yeah, i really need to get and egg timer to remind me to save my work, like, every 5 mins. But that would be an amazing new feature if it had an auto-save .
