BTW I just removed the current ati drivers and went back to the OEM ones to see if it would work
That's weird, it looks like your sound devices have been doubled. You might need to uninstall them completely in the Device Manager then reboot and let Windows rediscover them. It thinks you have two monitors, too, but that might well be true.
The BIG thing you are missing is Vista SP1. Not having that is like begging hackers to destroy your system. And if that hasn't been refreshed, heaven only knows how many other important updates you've skipped. Your video drivers are also badly out of date and the sound drivers look like they have never been updated at all. You need to spend some serious time updating. Turn automatic updates on and let Vista update whatever it wants. Then go to ATIs website and get the latest video driver. Then go hunt down the latest for your sound.
(You could save some time with Vista SP1 by waiting for SP2, which should be out in a few days. I really wouldn't suggest it, though.)

[/ QUOTE ]Actually you have to install sp1 to install sp2 on vista. So unless you got it intergrated already there is no getting around sp1. For some reason microsoft didnt make it have all the sp1 stuff because the file to download would be too big. Which to me is crazy when disk space is cheap as hell now so its nearly infinite.
Edit: SP2 is already out for MSDN, Technet and Connect user accounts. Will be installing it in a couple of hours.

Seriously? Jeez, that's nasty. SP1 took something like half an hour with its three reboots.

Thank you..
But yes, I have two monitors and sound devices. and SP2 already. My drivers are so out of date b/c I uninstalled them before posting this to get back to the OEM drivers, which caused COH to worked flawlessly. Everything is now up to date and all that.
Sorry for the late post and thank you for the suggestions, just figured that all the issues with vista would have been solved by now.

[/ QUOTE ]Going from integrated iso of sp1 to standalone installer of sp2 took about 10 minutes max. This was a totally naked installation that had just been clean installed.

I just reinstalled COH on my vista, but it worked perfectly when it was on my XP, but it crashes and says that my ATI 3850 failed. I have the hotfix that was included in service pack two but it continues to fail. Any help would be appreciated.
Sorry for the lack of info but I haven't really played in years and don't remember much of the software that I could help you guys with.
