From all I've heard, no one's been able to use contacts for rescues/escorts within missions. Your best bet is to either find another character to represent it, or add a custom "Person" critter.
Some of them appear under "Civilians" I believe.

I checked under civilians and heroes, she's not there. And, I can't make a "custom" critter that looks like her because we have no options in the editor for making children, just very small adults. Oh, well...I guess everyone will have to suspend a little disbelief.

Actually, you can make "close enough" children, but it's a LOT easier with the boys. The girls still have breasts, no matter how small you make them, so they'd have to be at least 12 or so. Children have large heads (there's even a setting for it under "Head/Shape/Youthful") with one of the "Young Faces", and all the body-sliders down to nothing except waist, which should be at max. Helps if you use "smooth tights", too, to smooth out the over-muscling.
For example, here's Mighty Moppet (I figure about 9 years old) and Headlong (about 13-14...just with long legs because he's a speedster). Unfortunately, this is about as good as it gets for the young ladies. Li'l Devil, although helpful would be using the "Baggy"shirts.

All right, I looked, I really did, but maybe my search-fu was weak. I thought the devs stated that we could use standard contacts like Azuria as rescue and escort targets in out arcs, but I can't find them anywhere. Specifically, I'm looking for Penny Preston. Anyone know the skinny on this?
