Any advantage over Deviant Art?
better customization of the page, if your good with Css you can change it dramatically. you can feed your blog to it, Instead of the journal system. you can Auto upload all your pics from DA onto it. its pretty nifty I will admit It will never replace DA in my eyes... but still its another place to get your work out there.
I got an invite to it, but haven't had time to set it up yet.

I keep hearing rumors of a mass exodus from deviantArt, are these true?
Is this site the next best alternative? Yeah I got an invite via gmail but I haven't taken the time to check the site out yet.

I joined there, but have posted nothing.
I don't see any mass migration from DA - looks like some are using both just as another outlet.

I haven't left DA. I prefer its layout and functionality to Artician's so far.
The problem with these other sites that are like deviantart is that the population in them is so small compared to DA.
Although I like Artician's layout. DeviantART's recent update has been annoying me. 
A very resounding meh to these 'artist' based social networking sites. I love the idea of making available a gallery available to anyone who wants one, but the reality is that it turned into a e-peen party of epic proportions. Does anyone really need to have more +favs than someone else? I mean, c'mon.

meh its just another outlet to me, anywhere i can get my pictures out is good to me. but Id never leave deviant art over it. seems like they have some cool idea's on artician though. and i do like the customizable profile.

[/ QUOTE ]I don't think that's what it's about at all, though. It's just a place to put up your art and get exposure. I'm sure there are people who are all about the pagehits, but really, it's just a good place to host art.
