Should I publish?
I know of some others who are publishing multi-parters. They
did this with the intention of getting some people hooked on thier
storylines. Some are good, while the others need work.
I say that if you're confident with your story and can take criticism,
good or bad, then go right ahead and publish it. After all, you'll
never know unless you do it.

Current project
When I go to a book store and I see a book marked as the first of a trilogy, I check to see if they have the other two. If they don't (unless it is a favorite author), then I move onto something.
I would say, publish it without saying it is part 1 and make sure it is a self-contained story.
When you add the second one, add its reference to the first one's description and call it part 2.
On the closing text for the first arc, you could add a teaser text implying there is more to come.

My arc originally was gonna be big. Until I found out about things like file size limits, and number of published arcs limits. So, I decided I have to limit my arc to 3 smaller arcs.
I've completed Arc 1 of 3. I feel confident its ready for publishing. I've not yet fleshed out parts 2 and 3. So, its gonna be a while before they are publish ready.
The Story Title will be formatted to indicate Part "1 of 3" etc. So, players would know its a series, and also be able to find the other 2 parts once they are finished.
I really want to publish part 1 now, but I feel like maybe I should wait until parts 2 and 3 are ready. That way players can run the whole story. I mean, it could be another 2 to 3 weeks before 2 and 3 are ready for players.
Looking for friendly opinions on this. Thanks!

It's commonplace in any serialized fiction. If you think it's ready, I say go for it. Plus feedback on the first arc may give you ideas or criticism that may apply to the other parts before you even put them out.
Dec out.

good idea, and if you put it out now, you will be able to edit it and get it to peak condition before all of them are out!

Ok, I think you have a good point. I am first going to finnish up writing parts 2 and 3 out in text. Once that's done, I'll publish Part 1, then Create Part 2 and 3 with feedback from part 1 in mind.

i published my first part.. Not like it maters, Noone has played it yet in almost a week
though honest it still needs some work, i gotta revamp my clues and i need to pass over dialoge again to make it flow a bit better. Still i think its worth playing at this point..
Besides id love the feed back.
If its the one in your signature your lack of play be because its from levels 10-14! Not everyone loathes the exemplar system like I do, but thats a biiiig hit even for more laid back gamers. Also, people dont tend to stay naturally in that range for very long - the levels just come to fast at that point. Perhaps if you bumped the level up to the 20-30 range you'd see more action.
On the other hand, I like the fact that there are lowbie only mishes out there. Yesterday I created Virtual Lad who will be trying to go from 1 to 50 in the MA only (no PLing or farming, just treating it like playing the normal game). So I'll definitely be giving your arc a look in a couple of levels, Je, and give as good of feedback as I can.
Dec out.
Alrighty. If anyone cares, I published my arc.

Mutant Revolution Part 1 of 3: Mutant Conspiracy?
Constructive criticism welcome, anything to help improve my MA skills.
Part 2 and 3 are written, just need to format them better add a detail or two, then hammer them into MA. Will get them out ASAP, but could be a while. Thanks and enjoy!!
