Removed Prisoner group for MA?

I built an Arc with the Prisoner group. I played the Arc live last night. Now, Arc invalid. I checked and the Prisoner group has been removed. Did the Devs remove the prisoner group?

yeah I'm going to have to do that too... on the plus side custom critters will put all of my missions in the correct level range. (I just have one mission that takes place in the Zig)

Reportedly because they're exploitable. I hope they bring them back, too, and add other low-level villains with very few powers. I'd like to make a lowbie mission for people and it'd make it a lot easier (of course, there are other factions for that, but none so nearly "normal"). Heck, so they're low risk (only punching and throwing rocks). Make 'em worth almost nothing xp-wise then.

Well, I received the Official word, which was as follows:

"Greetings,

On April 15th, the Prisoners were removed from the list of enemies that could be used in Mission Architect missions, so any storyarcs that used them prior to this change will need to be republished without them. At this time we do not have an ETA for how long this will last.

Please be sure to let us know if you have any other questions by updating this ticket.

Unfortunately, no real explanation.

My guess: They intend to add them into an unlockable pack for 900 tickets.

Updated board info suggests there might be a problem with them having that "one level range for heroes and an entirely different one for villains" bugginess.

I'm glad I found this thread, I had made a mission with the Zig breakout map, and was wondering why I couldn't find the prisoners. I ended making my own, like others had, but kind of bummed me out.

Just wondering, if anyone has a more concrete answer as to why they were removed. I was able to use the contaminated for a mission, and any of my toons I tested it with were auto exemped to level 1. Made for a pretty cool story addition in doing that.

By way of further update from the Developers [from the boards]:

Removed Prisoners (level 30-38) from the list of creatures that could be placed in missions. Any missions that become invalid after this change will have to be edited. Do NOT “Unpublish” your mission, or you will lose your Arc ID and ratings.
