For the same reasons merits aren't account wide or tradeable.

The devs don't allow tickets to be tradeable between players. Player A earned them, only player A can redeem them. Since they don't consider our characters to have some special, extra link just because they are all on one account, anything you cannot trade with another player cannot be traded between your own characters.

Pretty self-explainatory. Something available at AE that allows you to stash tickets, open to all characters on your account. Since much of the MA-related stuff is account-wide anyways, why not tickets? For that matter, why aren't they tradeable?
