Too Many Tickets Received?
It's not a bug. For even a moderately sized arc, you can receive upwards of 500 tickets. I believe that if you are one of the first people to play the arc, you also get extra tickets.
Why would you be compaining about getting extra tickets?
Ah, thanks. That makes sense. I was expecting Ticket rewards to be as miserly as Merit Rewards.

I used to test software for a living (among other things). If it turned out to be a bug, I would have reported it and requested a corresponding reduction of my ticket count. If you don't understand that exploiting bugs is evil, then you're never going to be allowed to date my sister, you know....
First let me see what your sister looks like before I answer you question.
what was the story number of this horrible ticket machine? the most i've made on a solo run was 6800 tickets
@Canadian Canuck @Canadian Canuck2
It was no where near that, just 322 tickets. I thought it was going to be like 2 or 3 tickets per mission, based on the scarcity of Merit rewards.
Huh. I did an arc and got NO tickets. ???

Tickets replace drops of loot. You use the Tickets to buy the loot your want (or for a chance to roll for a higher value loot). The prime reward is the Rare Pool C+D Roll (Gold rolls) at 4,000 Tickets. Other loot can be as cheap as 8 Tickets.
If you're not getting any Tickets, then you're either stealthing the mission and just clicking on one thing (which wouldn't give you a drop, so, it's not going to give you any Tickets), or, you're doing a Dev's Choice mission which gives the regular drops again like a regular mission and no Tickets.

Yeah... Dev's Choice. I hadn't checked in a while to know that Dev Choice missions didn't give tickets... or I just didn't remember that until I saw it in another thread.
Nah, I played through whacking pretty much all the mobs, the one arc I did last night - Twoflower's "Moon Base" mission on villain side.
I remember Twoflower from his NWN mission-designer days, so getting to see his creation in CoV was pretty sweet.
Soo... yeah, mystery solved. I was just all "um, what"?
I didn't remember seeing the arc flagged as Dev's Choice, so... yeah.

I think I may have received too many tickets for playing my very first mission. I didn't check beforehand, but do players start out with any tickets or gain tickets from going through all of the tutorials, or gain extra tickets for getting some of the "first timer" badges?
If it does turn out to be an error (or a designer Monty Haul situation) what should I do? I want to be ethical about it.
