MA Suggestion: Default Character Models

My suggestion is to unlock default character models that can be used in the Critter Creator.

For example... You unlock 'Circle of Thorns Mages Base Models' for 75 Architect tickets. This will allow you to use the models of the Circle of Thorns. They will not be editable beyond their colors, as an addition to this.

I realize that this creates some complications, like what happens when you give Tsoo Sorcerers, or Madness Mages some Martial Arts moves, but I DO think that this suggestion would be a great one.

What does the community think? Ability to be given base models as an alternative to a completely custom costume?

I'm hoping this will eventually get put into the game as well as the ability to give custom models default power sets.

Issue 16 made me feel like this.

Excellent call!

Great idea. Making them unlockable may make the idea more appealing to the devs.

What I want to see is something like this:

Choose your enemy:

1) Villain Group or Custom Group
2) Select a costume template for your custom group:

Circle Of Thorns
Hellions
Snakes
Hydra
Bat'zul

---- and so on.
3) Choose your custom group powersets.

Since the powers/hp aren't the same as regular mobs the devs wouldn't have to worry (as much) about farming.

This would allow us to create surprises like a Hellion-like boss guarded by Arachnoid-like demons.

They could limit the sets per model so the ones that don't work with certain animations would not have them. I want a giant rock monster who knows martial arts.

I like both ideas (unlockable editable [within reason] enemy models, and enemy power sets).

I'd love to get Radiation Melee on a melee mob.

EDIT: And, for that matter, 'power pools' for custom enemies. :/ Why should PPD and the like be the only ones that get Leadership?

Ya' know, I always wondered this. I'm just thinking "Why can't I give 'em Medicine?!"

I could see there being two options kinda like so:

- Choose Model from Selection
-- Hellions
--Skulls
--- Gravedigger
--- Death Head
--- Bone Daddy
-- Circle of Thorns
- Create Custom Model
-- (Costume Creator)

And then for the powersets, just take that exact same sort of graph...

- Choose Powers from Selection
-- Hellions
--Skulls
--- Gravedigger Chopper
--- Gravedigger Slammer
--- Gravedigger Brawler
--- Etc...
-- Circle of Thorns
- Create Custom Powers
-- (Powers Screen)

This would be cool too. I wonder if the non-custom powersets would have to be level limited. Otherwise there would be the problem we faced before: ie easy high level groups nerfed due to being too easy and exploitable. (The Family comes to mind).

For example: Hellion traditional powersets could be limited to arcs between levels 1-14.
