tips on switching contacts in an arc
I played one arc where the contact was a box with some comic books in it, and each comic book was a mission.

sounds clever. It would make me want see what the author could dream up.
I've got one. The arc I'm currently working on is "real", the villain has hacked the AE server to threaten his archrival. You get caught up in it. When you rescue the hero that is your ally, she hacks into the system as well, and contacts you through the "Contact". So she's keeping in touch with you using the Contact as a communicator. When you free other characters in the arc, they'll also speak through the Contact.
To further explain why you don't just meet this real person, I said that the malfunctioning AE is rematerializing her in different AE buildings, so she never knows where she's going to be when she exits.
Not sure...
Maybe you could use Golden Roller as the contact (so its not who gives you the mission, just the taxi that gets you there). Then inside the mission have rescues (with few if any guards) set to front that actually give you the mission text and then just stand around afterwards...

Remember: Guns don't kill people; Meerkats kill people.
I'm not at my game PC so I can't check this, but this would be a good reason to have a telephone booth be available as a contact. So you can receive calls first from one contact, then later from another.
Hopefully they'll make this unnecessary at some point by enabling more than one contact.
Freedom: Blazing Larb, Fiery Fulcrum, Sardan Reborn, Arctic-Frenzy, Wasabi Sam, Mr Smashtastic.
you cannot officially change the contact during an arc, but sometimes you want to for the story.
The only way I know to do this is to have the "contact" not be an actual person but be a computer, desk, or something else through which you talk to the real contact. That way you can get a phone call or email from different people throughout the arc.
Are there any other ways to do it?
