It's probably technically possible for the Devs to provide a feature like this. The real kicker is whether or not the Devs would consider something like that useful enough to enough people to spend the effort to provide it.
I guess my point is that I think I've needed to change my screen resolution like maybe twice in five years of play. How many other people besides you are really changing it all that often? *shrugs*

Well you could always tinker with the Registry settings manually. It's not that hard.
But I wouldn't be surprised if someone's written up a little script to do that too.

Yep that's the Registry tinkering "script" I was thinking of. 
The latest version looks to be a couple of years old.
The only question is if it's still compatible with current options available in the game.

Ah, thanks. I was just curious as I've been takin' my Desktop mobile to school and home going from a 17" monitor to a 22" everyday somewhat troublesome. I guess it wouldn't be common for people to change their resolution as often as I do but thanks for the link fellas. I will be doing some tweaking.

I would love to have a resolution pull down on the updater. Having to log in swap resolutions and restart is a pain.
Sure it would've been nice if a feature like that was there all along. But thanks to Memphis_Bill's memory we know the TweakCOH program exists and is easily obtainable so I wouldn't really want our Devs to waste any effort on something like that now.

And I don't see why they need to bother at all when we have the TweakCOH program -regardless- of how much time it might take the Devs to do it. Let the Devs "waste" their time on other QoL issues which have no easy workable alternatives first.

As a software engineer myself I have at least a reasonable educated guess how the Devs have "decided" to handle this particular suggestion, all things considered. I have faith that they've made the sensible choice already.

I just wanted to ask if there is any way to get an option in the CoV/CoH Updater window to provide a drop-down option to adjust resolution before loading in-game instead of changin' the resolution in-game and restarting.
