CoX CCG

The 'Golden Age' announcement got me thinking about mini games in general.

Online CCGs did have quite a following at one time (not sure if they still do); placing one as a mini-game available at the Arena (or other means) could provide a nice distraction from grinding and could attract those who are into that kind of gaming.

Cards could be earned in the normal course of play (badging), doing gladiator matches in the arena, crafting, etc.

Being that there would be no major graphics/system requirement to run one of these (unless you're crossing it over with the standard gladiator matches); it should be an easy implement.

Just have to be sure that there are tons or cards available, good art and a good core system of play.

Apparently, I play "City of Shakespeare"
*Arc #95278-Gathering the Four Winds -3 step arc; challenging - 5 Ratings/3 Stars (still working out the kinks)
*Arc #177826-Lights, Camera, Scream! - 3 step arc, camp horror; try out in 1st person POV - 35 Ratings/4 Stars

Could we also play the CCG while not in game...that would be awesome.

Well, they should already have resources as far as the defunct "real" CCG... Never played it, though, so I couldn't say how it'd translate over.

It seemed an easy enough CCG to translate, especially with the card maker they had available some time back.

No idea if they'd be willing to do it though.

"the reason there are so many sarcastic pvpers is we already had a better version of pvp taken away from us to appease bad players. Back then we chuckled at how bad players came here and whined. If we knew that was the actual voice devs would listen to instead of informed, educated players we probably would have been bigger dicks back then." -ConFlict
