Travel Powers

I've seen heroes and villains of all archtypes using every travel power SS, SJ, Fly, and sometimes teleport. From what i can tell SS and SJ seem to be the most viable in PvP. Are Fly or teleport any good for pvp either on their own or in conjunction with another travel power?

Teleport = no.
Flight = ok if you are ranged but slow and you can't really pursue.
Super Speed = still good but with the new travel suppression rules it took a hit.
Super Jump = probably best choice now, only thing to worry about is getting hit by a -jump power by a flying opponent or someone who is trying to get away from you.

Fly can be good if you have ranged attacks. Teleport is garbage in pvp.

If your going to take hibernate, take teleport. It does not suppress even when faced with caltrops, patches, toggles right after hibernate is finished. Basically, queue teleport while in hibernate.

Flight is also good with high stealth.

If it's slotted well, it's direct line speed can also be fast enough to keep up with
Speeders and Jumpers in congested zones where they have to zig and zag a lot.

Not quite. Fly is absolutely horrible by itself. Completely useless for catching up to anybody. That's where TP comes in.

The way I see it, TP to fly is what SS is to SJ. They're complementary. SJ+SS is a great travel combo, while by each other, they are not nearly as good. Same with fly+TP. By themselves, they're useless. Together, they're awesome.

On all my flying toons, I made sure to take TP as well. It got really annoying having to take like 3 mins just to fly across the map in a PvP zone.

Also, the thought that TP is now useless for getting away is wrong. It's a bit tricky, but it's still probably the best way of escaping, next to phase.
