who is WMG and why are they ruining my fun?

<Sigh> Tried posting a vid to Youtube and got a "we had to delete your audio because it might belong to WMG." kind of message. What is the point of a music vid without the music? I've had Wegame suggested to me as well so I'll see if I have any better luck there. Suggestions anyone?

WMG might be Warner Music Group.
Try playing with credits to the artist/WMG maybe, or just host it on WeGame.

I had that happen before, and the next day it went back with music. :O I had credits in my video and notes section....but I don't know if that changed it. :P

YT (Google) removed it because they'd rather not get their [censored] sued off by yet ANOTHER company (they're already being sued by viacom).

I actually pulled it myself as soon as I saw the music was out. I can understand protecting themselves but the whole "share your ideas with the world" thing gets worn a bit thin when this kind of thing happens. Ah well, spilled milk and all that. If thats the worst thing I have to deal with today, it'll be a pretty good day.

For some reason, WMG (Warner Music Group) is banning any video with music from them. They originally had a contract with youtube to allow their music on the site, but they recently terminated it for who-knows-why.

Which is really frustrating considering most of my videos are me playing Guitar Hero.

well this kills my theory of WMG being a fake recording company and a group of people trying to make a quick buck in these times by trying to scare youtube into paying them a quick royalty and removing videos with their music.
