I do know that items can now overlap, but how are you getting all the floating/elevated items? In I12 doing some of those stacking jobs would have been impossible. Also, I have seen wall items placed horizontally on the floor and floor items placed vertically on the wall.
A linkie or explanation would be much appreciated.

I got all the desks laid last night, and edging for the balconies.
I do not have a picture yet, but something I did that I am now running with (probably too much) in my base, is 4 of the curved white counters (inner or outer) in a perfect circle, and then float up a 'small planter x' exactly one desk hieght up in the middle of the circle. Makes a nice big planter. I will try to post more pics later. of the room in its current state.

Yeah. I worked on a layout that allows access to all rooms where we can focus in the center room as I think you still spawn randomly. But for now we have 54 Elite Energy beams, 27 -regen/-end boosters and 75 slow fields.

You could come by any time...working on the 2nd room of apartments atm (there are 4 apartments in this room - 2 1x3 and 2 2x2). I'm planning on having a total of about 10-12 apartments and a park for the SG membership. The prototype apartments are done as well as the "functional" portion of the base. The only thing that I will be revamping is the storage room since each apartment will have their own storage bin. The current storage room will become Az's retreat. Come by and I'll buy you a drink at the GS officer's club.
