Yeah I noticed that too Gill, very impressive ... unless you are looking very closely you don't see it. I am assuming one of the advantages is that Kat can have a colored paper copy of the work.

There are some pretty kick-butt artists who do amazing color originals. Nakayama's sketches for instance are really sweet. Charlie Vess does some crazy good stuff with colored pencils too.

I have the original piece that Brandon sent to me in marker as well. He had to touch mine up though, due to some confusion about Comet's colors.
But I still love the original as much as the recolored version.
