After reading Posi's post, I guess Ultra Mode is a no-go here... not spending the money to upgrade my card either.

I'm game for Thursday night...

I found on test that I can still function with the new, shiny graphics on my GeForce 7800 GS*, but I have to have them turned way down. I've also noticed that the game is no longer happy with me Alt-Tabbing to other applications (i.e. opening up Photoshop to edit a screenshot) while the game is still running. I should still be able to get by, though.

* Yes, that's an AGPx8 card. The only way I can upgrade is to build an entirely new box, and that's not happening any time soon.

I tried it on my 8800M GTS (have it on me laptop) and if I go full Ultra settings, the game looks spectacular, but it's unplayable. The performance hit is way too high. About all I can do with the settings is to have the water reflections on and still be playable.

I'm not going to spend the money to upgrade my desktop or laptop with a new card, so I guess I'll be going non ultra.

Well, I have what is probably the lowest-end machine for anyone playing the game, but I can play again!

I am missing today. Sidhe Blade is not feeling well. She is sick with a sinus infection and pregnant. She is completely wiped at the moment can barely move.

So I am here loyal slave... errr husband taking care of her. I hope you all understand.

I am at least not running to Cabo playing doctor with E-Lizabeth like some people who do not show up.

Missed you Troll, hope Sidhe is feeling better. We finished in about 1:25 and had 2 deaths. Very close.

She is feeling better. Friday scary let me tell you all that. If the ER could not stabilize her asthma she would have been admitted for the sake of her and the baby. Doctors did everything not to admit her.

She is walking and talking now something she was not earlier, that started Sunday Afternoon. She missed all you guys. She hates missing ITF Thursdays believe me. She has a lot of fun with that over a stressful week.

So hopefully all is good.

So I take it I will be bringing a support alt for this? Also, Do you think that we could get this done by 10:30 as the better half and I have a late night art opening we have to get to this Thursday.

Hey guys. I sooo hate missing ITFs. Anyway, as I was talking with my hubby yesterday I might also bring my Archer twin she recently got to 35.

Yes I am doing better, still tired but that comes with the teritory slowly getting better though, after this week starting soooo slow I will need to be killing power.

FYI ITF is bugged too. Not sure of bug and I am not sure if there is a fix slated for tuesday's patch.
