Preset demofiles?
If you want to generate screens like this:

Download the awfully incomplete program at http://cohposer.blogspot.com/ and enter your character's data in the file cohposer.ini (wherever you install it). Then pose the model, click which side view you want, click 'Save Demo', then 'Play Demo', and it'll automagically load COH and play your character's demo. It'll save it as cohposer.cohdemo in whatever folder you installed it in.

This is what 3700 heroes in a single zone looks like.
Thanks to @EnsonsDeath for the GVE code that made me VIP again!
There is also a Vanity Demo Creation Wizard in Balshor's Demo Editor. It allows you to pull a character/costume definition from an existing demo recording, and then it places them on Ms. Liberty's pedestal and rotates the camera around them for a 360-degree view.
Wow! Thanks for the replies.
Would either of these solutions work with in-game villains like the Vahzilok or Freakshow? Or just with hero player characters?
Any NPC you see in the game can be put into your demo. You can't really play dress-up with them in the same way you would a character you made, though.
For a whole list of NPC's and the demo codes needed to transplant them, see Scuzzbopper's City of Heroes Codex.
Ah, see, I'm learning bit by bit. Thank you all.
What I want to try and do is to create a custom NPC villain, based on one of the Vahzilok Slab01-04 models but with a Freakshow Juicer backpack attached to it.
I wanted to see if I could do a little I-14 MA experimenting. I wanted to make a custom villain set based on existing models, but I'm not sure if I can do it. The idea I have is that a Vahz scientist got ahold of some papers and was trying to create a set of electrically-powered Vahz, kind of like the Viktor character from the "Darkstalkers" video game series.
I'll continue to experiment, but if someone knows what to do I'd sure appreciate any input.
I was wondering whether there are any online demo files with the camera and scene preset so that I could edit them to insert characters. I want to be able to have a full-body shot and then a possible medium shot to allow for a closer view.
I want to try my hand at creating some custom NPC characters by starting with a base and then applying accessories to see what might be currently possible before the release of the Mission Architect. I then hope to share what I create to see what people think and maybe start people thinking about characters to share for MA missions.
I think I can edit the code to get the looks I want but I'd just like a starter file or two that doesn't include scenery/NPCs/props/etc. that I don't want.
Thanks in advance.
