Bayani (pencils by Ed Tadeo, inks by Gary Martin)
nice work... hey I thought you retired!?
Scrappers NEVER retire, they just take a vacation.

When Fire/Fire scrappers came out, I deleted Bayani and re-rolled him to fit concept better.
Ah!!! Yes that makes sense...
Holy cats, Bayani is back... o.o
Oh my gosh now THAT is crosshatching the way it's meant to be. Those are the nicest cleanest lines... I so hated the sloppy mess that early Image books gave the world, so this is so refreshing to see actual shading done right.
Please read my FEAR/Portal/HalfLife Fan Fiction!

Deleted? .. you do know that you could simply have bought a rename token right?

I could've...but I ended up just doing multiple respecs to slavage the IOs before deleting him. I was kinda bored with the Fire/EM blaster anyways so...yeah. I deleted. Gives me an excuse play again....not having a "50".
I always end up regretting those choices at some point (and I'm talking even for lvl 22s) so .. I'm not big with deleting pass ... lets say 15 ...
But if it gets you playing ... then who am I to argue the approach!
Game on!

8 page comic book story notwithstanding, this is probably the most detailed Bayani piece I've had done in some time. Anyhow, here's the original linework done by Ed Tadeo. I felt the linework made the character look on the more older/mature side.
Ed Tadeo - Original Linework
Artist Gary Martin (author of [u]Art of Comic Book Inking[u] took some notes and did some really professional inking to finetune the linework and make Bayani look younger and more clean cut.
