YOu have to use a program that will convert it to a video file, such as FRAPS.

I just finished downloading it, but I am confused as to how to use it. Can you elaborate?
Install fraps and run it, click the 'Movies' tab and see what the 'Video Capture Hotkey' is set to (normally F9 unless you change it) as well as the 'Folder to save movies in', once thats done start the playback of the demo you want to record, once it begins press F9 and it'll begin recording it to the folder you saw before. Remember that the free version of FRAPs will only record 30 seconds at a time.
Also, I have a good feeling your computer will explode while trying to record and playback the demo at the same time

I swear I got the crash complex on the other computer, not this one.
On topic: So unless I pay money, I won't be using fraps for much else than alot of quick small videos... is there a free one I can use or no?
Wegame has a free recorder, though a couple people here have had trouble getting it to work properly. Still worth a try though.
My wife and I have the demoplayer export frames and then use Quicktime Pro's "Open Image Sequence..." option to convert the exported frames to a movie. There are other tools that can do that conversion, and we tried the ones we found but quicktime was the best and fastest at it.
Actually, the 30 second limitation on the free Fraps version can be overcome by capturing a scene in segments and then editing them together. Then again, I find that a shot that lasts more than 30 seconds is usually boring and needs some editing anyway.

I use a similar method myself. Just keep in mind that this option can quickly use up quite a bit of disk space.
How do I make the demorecord from the coh, be viewable in anouther way than using the coh style, such as windows media player? Is that even possible?
