I wanted to have all of them blow up using the self-destruct FX from the cyborg pack, but apparently it doesn't work with NPCs.

Seriously, though, check the Fan Videos topic for a big list. The Maximilia.net link will take you to a much higher quality version of Thank You. Plus you can see the All Star video which is much better, as it has many more of my characters in it.

Okay Dark, got good news and bad news.

The Good news: I've gone through and watched several of your videos. All very impressive. I'll post my thoughts on them in a moment.

The Bad News: For some reason I can't view some of your videos. Probably some sort of bad width switch on my side or my verizon modem getting ready to melt down or something. I'll try to check 'em out later.

Now my thoughts:

Time to Start: loved the group dancing scenes.
Foot note: Why were there civies up on top of Paragon Hall?
The dancing school bell wanna be Carnival was just kinda weird


Etiquette: Pluses: Really well done, great shots (both as a sniper and as Videopgrapher)
Minuses: It's kinda hard to explain, but it just didn't seem to move anywhere music wise. Personally, I say take this one as a plus, normally I'm never at a loss of descriptions

Invasion: Okay, I gotta give you so many freaking mad props for this one! I'm actually doing a fan comic that deal with an alternate verson of the invasion, and I had kinda lost some of my enthusiasm for doing it. This video just revamped my enthusiasim for it!!!!!!!! Very dark, dery cinema esqu. Ranking on You tube asside, This one is going in my favs list.

Incarnate: WOW! okay that one really just blew me away. If they do ever make a movie/tv series of City of Heroes, and they don't talk to you, I'm sorry I would have to write off the entire production!

Midnights secrets: This one was kinda slow to get started, but it kept a good pace and was easy to follow. Some really fantastic shots in this video. When it really got moving it wasn't BAM IN Your face kinda moving, it eased into it, which was good.



Value of PWNage: Like you said: Priceless!

Make Love and war: Damn and I missed it! Really cool vid! Lots of fun to watch.

Countdown to the Future: Really cool way to remember the history of CoH.

I'll admit, this is gonna be a little biased, but what the heck. So far I like Invasion the best. Until I get to view your other videos I'm gonna put that one at the top 3 list (Not nessicarially 3rd, but somewhere between 1st and 3rd)

Of all my videos, that one I look at as 'technically' great, storywise not so much, because of the music restrictions. If I could have used the music I *wanted* to use, it would have been very different.

The only real in-your-face shot I wanted, as it were, was the scene where the camera zooms around to reveal Cimerora. Everything else, I just wanted to convey scope, rather than speed.

I really should re-shoot Invasion, keep the same music and general stuff, but now that I have a better computer, get some better footage, and I've learned so much more since I made that.

No, it wasn't Youtube not finding the video it was my system not loading them. I even tried on your website and the videos wouldn't load, or even Download for that matter. I donno, like I said probably something on my end. That's what ya get when ya jury-rig 5 systems from practically 3 generations of hardware.

Born of the Night: wow, this one actually makes me care about the midnighters story arcs. I just kinda breezed through them on my brute so I could get to Cimerora. Guess I need to go back and redo them now. CURSE YOU SAMURAIKO!

A Stitch in Time Trailer: Very well done video, Lots of really outstanding shots in it. Only thing I would point out is the last shot where the two versions of your character are facing off agianst one another. It took a moment, and I had to read the "more info" link on the video, to get what that was representing.

A stitch in Time: first panel of text is a bit fast. If you're not waiting for it, and ready to read it, you miss the last word or so. Very cool transisional scenes as you went down the time line, and then went back up it.

That's another video I'd like to slightly re-shoot, having learned a lot more since then. I hadn't learned at that point how to map in characters, and I think it would 'clarify' the storyline a bit to re-shoot it the way I'm imagining it now.

That was one where I wanted people to go back and watch it more than once to go, "Wait a sec, was that...?" It's one I still very much enjoy, though, because of how many people LOVED the ending ("Get ready to REMAKE history").

I'm glad you enjoyed my work, though! I did answer your PM, btw - we'll see what we can come up with.

And as for what you could do to help me convince NCSoft... I've no earthly idea. I've asked, I've applied, I've offered to bribe with my brownies, and no luck yet. If you've got a better idea, I'm all for hearing it!
