Hey just wanted to drop a note and say that there is a good chance that I'm going to be late or absent on Sunday. Once again they go and put a holiday on game night.

Just Obscure and me the last 2 weeks. Last week we played other toons, but this week we had a pretty good PUG going and gained almost a level.
yeah been traveling and haven't been able to make it. Hopefully this week I will be there. I'll try and play some during the week to catch up a bit. Sorry, I knew slacker was going to be out so wasn't sure what we were really doing.
I will be back this next week.

If and when you start another static team, I'm very much interested. Especially if the time is still Sundays 8PM EST. This jives really well with my schedule. As far as team make up, I'm open to just about anything, including an all theme group...such as an all Empath or all Radiation team(just examples that popped into my head).

But yeah, I'm down for anything with a team if you'll have me...... course you might want to kick me after this summer I am fairly certain I will not make tomorrow night, or next week. I'm traveling again on both of those days ( seems to be the day of choice this summer) Odd thing is, I could make Wednesdays right now without too much trouble

you're welcome to join us on our wednesday villian team. Only a few of us left there. We are about the same level as the sunday team. We start at 8, just like on sundays.
For some reason, i doubt if tonights team will be similar to last weeks. I think every one of us (on a PUG of 8) had knockback. There were villians flying all over the screen all night long. Least i wasn't the only one knocking the baddies away from the tank

Our poor stoner. He has yet to become a true SB junkie as he rarely has anyone to give him some!!! He moves darn fast though for a stoner! On a side note, if you really are interested in having the fire/kin let me know. She's right in range too and has been sitting on the shelf for a good while now so I really wouldn't mind getting her capped out too. I'm good either way.... though I can guarantee I won't make next Sunday. Sunday next i should be good though (crosses fingers)

I've been hiking Glacier National Park, fishing, rafting, and otherwise been slacking on vacation. I'm so lucky! My uncle lives a few miles south of Glacier, and it's a fantastic place to take some time.....unfortunately, he only has dial-up. Barring Mount Baker exploding, I should be around next week.

Well, as I'm sure you could tell from my brief appearance then subsequent disappearance I was having MAJOR connection issues. I was trying to play from the Holiday Inn near JFK. needless to say it did not happen. I'm quite peeved I missed a majority of dbl xp weekend due to traveling and other RL stuff going on with the family. I will be home by Tuesday which means I can get some grinding done and try to catch up before next Sunday.
Oh, and I do hate the new boards. In case anyone was wondering. I couldn't find this thread earlier to post.
I don't mind the new forums because i was already somewhat used to this system. Another forum i read uses the same program.
You weren't the only one having major issues. We had a whole team DC that Hancy never made it back from and a whole bunch of problems just trying to move, much less enter a mish or fight. It made it interesting at times.
If you try to catch up, Miner and Sia made it to 46. I don't remember what level Charged's toon made it to.
Hopefully we'll see ya next week.

With all of the issues Champs had this weekend. We were able to push out 4-5 missiosn and gain 2 lvls. Got the Neroun, Anti-matter, Shadowhunter and Bobcat AV's that helped with the XP gain. Plus one Monster.
New boards ... it will take some time to get use to them but in a few days things should be back to normal

Since I was able to attend 2 weeks in a row, I'm not holding my breath about this weekend. But stranger things have happened.
At the rate you guys are gaining on me, I may have to switch toons again. I have a level 46 scrapper that I can use. The fire/rad controller almost makes things too easy anyway.

While i'm thinking about it, since we were discussing what we were wanting to do once we all hit 50, i had a couple toon concepts, so I created a Def and a blaster that i could use when we start over. Both of their basic concepts could be converted into other AT's if necessary.
We going to do a power team ?? all same AT or theamed as powers types, or Costumes.
I would not have a problem rolling a scrapper or blaster

last year the City scoope did a few articals on power teams. How they can be very powerfull. I would like to do this and tryed with my SG but a few member have low play rate so doing a power team is hard.
tanks yes move slow through, but can live through most. blasters would have to be quick and killing machines. defenders power teams tend to get the name "Mage tanks" they have high deffences and ranged attacks that are not as strong as blasters. Problem is finding something everyone want to do. My choice would be blasters or scrappers.

I'd be willing to discuss any varation that anyone would be interested in trying. Now, my only 50 so far is a blaster, but i'd consider doing another if thats what people want. I'm willing to try about anything, especially since I brought up the idea in the first place.
