any programs that randomize your desktop?

I know there used to be a little thing to use in startup but honestly that was like... for windows 98 or earlier. I'm sure there IS a way to do it, what OS are you running specifically? Maybe check sites for that.

I use a program called Wallpaperchanger, I got it from download.com

It hasn't been changed since 2001, but I still run it without problems on my XP system. Every time I do a rebuild I make sure it gets reinstalled. I've got dozens of screenshots from the game that I cycle through for my desktop. I have it set to change every time I load Windows, but you can also set it to load a new random image every so often, or even not change at all. I'm very happy with it. It's very simple and straightforward.

Personally I use a program called "Wallpaper Master". I searched all over for a program that had some ability to position and resize images of a variety of sizes. I'm rather happy with it myself.
You can try webshots. You can download stuff from their site and/or make it all of your own images. It has settings for a screensaver and the desktop.

not sure if this is the proper forum, but i am looking for something that would reset my desktop image at random, maybe everytime i turn the comp on.
Something that would take images from a specific folder so i could put the stuff i want in there, not just random internet fluff.
i know there are things like this for screensavers, but i've not found anything for the desktop itself
