The attacks launched at her simply splashed off or had no effect on her amazing armor and its accompanying nano-bots. She kicked Mechanomorphic in the gut, sending him into the wall while she turned to engage the new horde of enemies. She charged Breaker, sword drawn and glowing with a hellish amount of firepower. From the scene about, she had already ruined two mastermindsÂ’ days almost effortlessly, and the look on her face showed she expected a repeat performanceÂ…

Breaker didn't just stand there and watch Valkyrie charge him - his hands once again changing into those massive, impervium-hammers, swinging those massive arms to the sides - but instead of charging at the lady bound for Valhalla, he stood his ground, and waited for her.
As she got within range, no doubt about to swing her sword, the pistons within his arms gave out a hellish hissing sound, the Assault Bot's hands coming together, each hammer connecting with her sides, sending her crumpling to the floor.
"Go ahead, get back up so I can break you in proper," Breaker said, already swinging one hammer hand in an uppercut motion to send the warrior woman flying backwards. What she didn't see was the other hammer hand swinging downwards at the same time, bearing down on her head with an incredible, impacting, thudding sound.
Fixer, Functionary, and the Warbot trio kept their barrage of heavy laser blasts going, repeatedly firing at the woman, not letting up one bit. Fixer through out a couple of seeker drones before Breaker had engaged, giving them a very slight advantage at the moment, but he wasn't relying on that.
Functionary would throw out a couple more seeker drones mid-fire, when he could get a chance.
The Warbots, upon seeing Valkyrie crumple to the floor from Breaker's hammering blows, close into melee, each of them swiping with their claws, jabbing and stabbing at her.

The kitten strode past the battle in the hallway, bits of debris falling through it and wandered into the Lab. It looked briefly around the room before hopping on top of what seemed to be the center of some very intense scrutiny and simply said. "Hello there."

Dr. Mechan looked at the top of the device, having heard something say hello. "O.K., odd, but not that strange," he said, rubbing his metallic chin with his mechanical claw hand. The scrapping noise would be horrific to anything with sensitive ears.
"Tell me you're not with Longbow, and you get to live," he simply said to the cat. "Make it quick, too, 'cause my robots are out there in that hallway right this very instance, fighting of all people, Valkyrie..."
Cassie's bots were more standard models, so they lacked the customised melee weapons Mechan had apparently built into his. Still even the standard bots were no pushover. They kept firing from behind as Breaker held the hero's attention, a wall of sustained firepower between them and Valkryie. A pair of seeker drones whizzed over Breaker's head, detonating in front of the hero's eyes to effectively blind her, at least for now. Meanwhile, Cassie shoved a fresh cell into her rifle and kept firing. "Stupid bloody regens", she muttered to herself.

The Kitten tilted it's head at the being in front of it and said, in a thick British accent "I wonder if I could trouble you to spring a young woman before you toddle off with you device here" He pawed at the box beneath him. "It'll only take a mere thought from you I'm sure... I wouldn't ask... but she is quite insistent that life in a vault doesn't suit her. Why... I'd be willing to guess she'd even try to repay you. If your interested, it's out the door and down just away. I'll wait out front." With that and a whip of it's tail it lunged off the device and on to the floor and wandered back to the cell.
Dr. Mechan looked at the cat as it spoke. British accent. Captive in this building. A repayment of some sort. All these things clicked through the cybernetic beings neural net in instances too quick for the human mind to coherently comprehend.
All he knew was - whoever was being held in a cell in this place, definitely wasn't with Longbow or any other hero group. Said individual was definitely someone not to be trifled with, either. Freedom Corps and Longbow would consider such a person to be a most extreme threat. Before the cat could even lunge off the device, Dr. Mechan motioned at it.
"Since you can apparently pass through objects with relative ease," the Doctor's raspy, electronic voice began, "You will get to help us out as well. Whoever is being held within this cell of yours, is most definitely going to work off this debt."
He turned, following the cat into the hall, taking notice of Breaker and the crew dealing with Valkyrie in quite an amusing fashion. He wasn't holding his breath too long, though ... he knew things could go south in an instant.
"By the way," Dr. Mechan said to the cat, "Your friend is going to have a LOT of things to do before this debt will be considered repaid."
Doom hated fighting scrappers. It was like looking into a twisted mirror of someone who loved fighting as much as she did, but somehow had the self control to be...good. Like her sister.
"Only half sister!" she reminded herself brightly.
So she pointedly ignored the new hero. If she didn't acknowledge him, he'd go away. Like hiding in Siren's call.
She did see Mr. Invincible loaded for bear trying to get the jump on Grahn. Grahn was not as big a stick in the mud as Recycler, and a fellow connoisseur of the fight. With a push of her legs that cracked the ruined street pavement beneath her, she leapt right towards Mr. Invincible.
"Tsk, tsk. Sneaking up like that. Inexcusable. And you're a good guy! I'm am absolutely appalled at your behavior. What would Ray say?"
Heading on a midair collision course, she reached back her right fist, a huge grin spreading on her face.
"One of these days, Alice, one of these Days!"

The problem with Crestfallen's life-draining attacks was that he was trying to drain lifeforce from undead targets. It may have had some merit had they been traditional zombies, but apparently technologically reanimated corpses were the rage these days.
Exposure to his ring of dark energy did do damage to them, however-That was the whole point of using negative energy. Most ot the attack was absorbed in its entirety by the darkest night of vaporized Tiberium and the first Enlightened. The other five minions were out of range.
Recycler-33 in the meantime, was trying to figure out how to get rid of this pest. Having fought several heroes before, he knew trying the fear switch wouldn't work on negative energy users. If only the hero would just go away-Ad there the Recycler found his answer.
A chasm erupted in space and time, a black hole of shifting energies that formed right on top of the advancing hero and began shifting him into an alternate dimension. All of the minions retreated, leaving Crestfallen stranded in the middle of a patch of Tiberium gel, a storm of vaporized Tiberium swarming around him, and a black hole about to swallow him up and spit him back out where the sun didn't shine.

Valkyrie was surprised, and slightly scared-A simple robotic minion being able to knock her back, even when her armor was in Glory mode, was unthinkable. The uneasiness did not last however, as she quickly dismissed the whole thing as a fluke and got up, pointed her sword at Breaker, and sent a focused beam of her spear's *which she never used* nanites to deconstruct him.
Breaker dodges the beam, just barely enough to be a tad bit ticked off at the woman. The spear was it's source, which was quite odd.
Breaker swung his hammered hand back around, the hammer smashing into the woman's blade, still pointing at the robot. The clash of impervium upon whatever steel Valkyrie's blade is made of rings out through the hallway with a thunderous clash.
The force exerted by Breaker's arm was enough to send Valkyrie off balance, giving Breaker the time he needed to smash her in the back with his hammered fists.
The kitten glanced back to the man following it as he rounded a corner and said. "Oh that will be no problem at all good sir." the kitten paused and had a rare moment of truthfulness. "I might warn you... She may appear to have an... altered grip on reality. But I assure you she will be very grateful." He stopped in front of the door and pawed at it. "Right here my good man.". Inside could be heard a strange sound... Singing?

Crestfallen gritted his teeth and smiled a twisted grin. "Quite a mess you've got yourself into idiot" he laughed to himself. After cracking his neck and rolling his shoulders he sprang up with all his might, sending him vaulting into the sky above with barely his skin intact. Landing on a nearby building he perched while turning incorporeal once more, merely a puff of smoke.

Lui stood in her cell her head slightly bobbing side to side singing some tune she made up with words of total nonsense. She knew the cat would come back for her. He loved her, or hated her, she couldn't quite remember which. The psy resonance echoed through the cell walls, drilling into her skull, but she paid little attention to it.
Dr. Mechan looked down at the cat, the furry creature pawing at the door now.
"Yeah, sounds like a buncha gibberish to me," he said, his auditory sensors capable of picking up the singing, clearly, even through such a cell door. It wasn't the only thing he picked up, either ... some psyonic mumbo-jumbo was going on in there too. "Well, so long as she understands," he says, pulling out his pulse rifle. "You might want to tell her to stand away from the door..." he lifts the rifle up, pointing it at the door, finger on the trigger and ready to blast away at it.
With Valkryie off balance, Cassie's bots pressed their attack. A renewed assault of lasers and plasma bursts struck the hero, punctuated by explosions from Big Mac's missiles and the occasional seeker drone from the two protectors. Meanwhile, Cassie extended a hand towards Mechan, who'd walked straight past the hero with no concern for his own wellbeing at all. The machinery in her glove hummed softly, and a pair of shield bubbles sprang up around the other mastermind. After reshielding all her bots while she was at it, she decided to switch things up a bit. A bigger sphere of force expanded off her, and longbow and hero alike were repelled away. More of her bots' firepower followed them down the hallway.

With Crestfallen gone, Recycler-33 stood still for a while wondering how the hero had jumped out of the Tiberium Gel-it was much too sticky to allow much movement or any form of jumping. He shrugged, put that conundrum aside for later, and focused on the one hero remaining: Mr. Invincible.
In addition to having Doomtastic on his tail, he found the two Enlightened warriors charging him with their Tiberium crystal swords.

OOC:
In the interest of time, I'm going to accelerate the fight versus Valkyrie to its inevitable conclusion.
BIC:
Valkyrie hadn't stood a chance. She had lost the very moment she set foot in the building. She was one of the most powerful heroes in Paragon City-She had successfully taken entire groups of villains like the ones she currently fought and WON handily. These villains were just like many she had defeated in the past-But there were differences. They were ignoring her suit's modulation system, which prevented her from yielding to any attack, be it to knock her down or hold her still, by injecting purple-colored triangular shaped nanites into her body and regulating it accordingly. And then, of course, her nanites could also bolster her suit's toughness by directly fusing with it to engage Glory made, a proverbial and literal moment of glory for Valkyrie in which she was borderline invincible for a short period of time. The villains were ignoring-negating perhaps-her suit's Glory mode.
It was as they didn't exist! She could have coped with losing access to Glory mode, but the negation of her purple triangular nanites sealed her fate and put the nails in her coffin.
Being thrown around like a rag doll by the immense variety of attacks coming from all directions from so many foes, Valkyrie could only respond on occasion with sluggish attacks. She fell, and her medi-porter kicked in before any of Dr. Mechan's zealous drones could eliminate her for good.
Mechanomorphic rested against the nearby wall, saving his recording of the fight for study, before tearing off his arm and using it to build a new one from a tool kit he pulled from hammer space.
Nightshade was still unconcious behind the fallen chasis of a drone, the medic having just finished patching him up.
Fixer and Functionary would approach the other two masterminds laying on the floor, offering assistance.
"We can mend your wounds," they both said, simultaneously.
Breaker watched as Valkyrie's mediporter kicked in and her fallen body was whisked away. "DAMMIT!" the Assault Mech bellowed.
The Warbot trio encircled Breaker, as if the four of them might find themselves in another battle incredibly soon.
All the while, Dr. Mechan had been using an improvised cutting laser built into his rifle to open the cell door the cat had led him to.
Doomtastic felt a strange jerk and looked around.
She could have swore she had leapt after Mr. Invincible, but she couldn't see him anymore. And here she was, feet flat on the ground.
She turned to Recylcer, "Huh. Mapserver."
With an exagerated shrug, she began to whistle, waiting for the next do-gooding interloper.

a caped form was sent hurdling upwards and backwards through a sky scraper and impacting near the perez park gate leaving an impact crater. Staggering up and clutching a very sore jaw he took a few moments to rest and clear his head of the ringing in it.

Mr. Invincible eventually straightened up as his head cleared a bit. What the hell was that monster made of? He stretched his limbs a bit to try and dispell some of the soreness.
Larry let himself float upward into the air until he had a bird's eye view of the city. He'd have to rethink his strategy. Simply pounding on the creature wasn't going to work and would most likely result in the two of them leveling much of the surrounding area.
Spotting another team of Longbow agents heading toward the battle, Larry swooped down after them.
"Excuse me officer," he called as he touched down nearby. "I was wondering if you could spare some supplies."
Moments later Mr. Invincible was flying back toward the destruction, a Longbow utility belt slung around his waist. As he drew near to the fighting, he saw that another hero had shown up and was taking on a group of zombie-like creatures.
He also saw Grahn waiting a little ways away. Probably ready to pounce if given an opportunity. Larry really didn't relish another round with that behemoth, but his ID card said "Hero" on it, so doggonit he was gonna act like one. Double-checking the belt one more time, Larry arced downwards.
