Clawkitty comic... maybe?... perhaps?

ok, ready or not, heres a little peak into my personal life:

i work in retail... in a 1 hour photo to be exact. i develop film, print pictures, sell cameras and accessories, and spend all day being nice to people i'd rather strangle with my bare hands.

for a while now i had this idea of doing a comic strip based on my real life experiences of serving the general public.

but i also wanted to do a comic based on fantasy, or superheroes and such.

so i came up with the idea of combining the two ideas and do a comic about my favorite hero, Clawkitty. at night she will battle the evil of the streets, and by day she will fight the urge to slice and dice the many dimwits who can't tell the difference between a digital camera and an electric shaver. (yes it really happened!)

here is a quick work up of what may be the first page. this is just an intro, so dont expect any gut busting funny jokes or anything. :P

I love it. I worked eight years in retail, so I know how ya feel on that front. Great idea to combine the two into one comic. And it may not have been gut-busting, but I still got a good chuckle from just the first page. I think you're on your way to something great, keep up the good work.

You stuff looks really cool, and this looks great so far. I'm looking forward to seeing it as it goes along!

Couple of random thoughts. I think your style would work very well in a project like this. On the idea in general, I think it's a good one. One thing I would reccomend is making sure you don't get too bogged down with inside humor that no one outside the 1 hour photo game can relate to. I have a toon (and I'm sure others do to) with a similar back story. Z-Girl is warshade who basically hates the idea of being a superhero and works (poorly I might add) as an assistant manager of a coffee shop. I think your idea can really be funny and interesting but in my opinion the writing will be key as I think you have the art skills to pull off the graphic portion.
