Hey everyone. Yes, it's been a longtime since I've posted here. I, for some reason or another, hit a sort-of dry spell when it came to drawing. But I feel like picking up the pencil again.

Now, tradional with what I usually do, I'm thinking of doing a decent sized project that requires community involvement (That of supplying characters, of course.). But, also keeping with tradition, it may not even happen. Actually, looking at my track record, chances are slim.

But, if you want to participate anyways, go ahead.

Anyways, I've always really wanted to do a web-comic of sorts. Nothing fancy, of course. I was thinking of just a community comic, for the forums. For you guys. 'Cha knows?

I don't quite have a story in mind yet... I'm really into the whole Steampunk/Cthulu thing at the moment, so it might involve something of that nature (Set in our Paragon City, of course.).

So what I'm currently looking for, is a cast of characters who will appear throughout the run of the comic. Some may appear more than others. Some may be more intricate to the story. Some may be killed off. Who knows? It depends on what your characters details are.

SO. You may post ONE character (No making me chose). A nice, detailed screenshot, and a bit of backstory would be incredibly helpful. It may be a villain, or a hero, of either gender.

I want a relatively small cast. So. 5 people. (Not a first come, first served thing, however.)

I'll submit my villain, Archdemon Tarix. Anything you do would be prior to Sarix Morrison's death in the big storyline for him.

Powers include control of Electricity and the Shadow Flame (Negative/Fire element), Teleportation, Flight, and Super Strength. He also has extensive knowledge of demonic rituals involving possession, soul-binding, and soul contracts.

I've got a steampunk character in City of Heroes named Steamshot. His real name is Sir Templeton Montebank, III, and until recently he was a big game hunter in the English Royal Court in the dimension known as Celadon Earth. In the late 1800s, however, he was assisting his unnaturally long-lived friend, Charles Babbage, with an experiment when Babbage's assistant, the young H. G. Wells made an error in his calculations, slingshotting Templeton across time and dimensions.

The "Nemesis Rifle" he carries with him is a Sullivan & Drake Gemini Mark VI Automated Ammunition Adjusting (AAA) Steam Rifle (with all the most pertinent upgrades, of course). He also uses a pair of powered gauntlets that allow him a moderate amount of control over electricity.

Unfortunately, my cast of characters is mostly set in stone. That does not mean, however, that either of your characters will not show up in this project.

On the contrary. It wouldn't be much of a comic with only the main cast, now would it? No, I'll definetly have other characters show up during the run of the comics.
