If folks HAPPEN to look at my gallery, they might HAPPEN to stumble across the sketches of Fallen Skye I did...

That is if they HAPPEN to be logged into deviantart... Because heaven forbid I link to breastages.

Hi all,

Although I rarely post, I am a frequent lurker, and I think what you guys are doing is awesome. So I have decided help out too.

I am just starting to get really serious about drawing/painting so I don't have something to call my own style yet, but here are some practice pieces from this week for visual reference.
practice 1
practice 2

And an older study from Ultraviolet:
metal study

I prefer a character that shows a lot of skin(tights/leather is fine) to heavy armor/mech types as I am currently studying anatomy.

Let me know what I can do and I will get to work right away.

Ummmmm...WOW!!!! those are beautiful! I love the brush stroke style you're using. Very cool!

Comrade Hero and Graviton Girl are on the list. Lucky number 17.

Got a tap on the shoulder about this thread today from a friendly CoXer.

I've been rather sick the last few months so haven't had a chance to check out this fourm. I'd commissioned Gill for a duo piece - East meets West many moons ago...

Azrial, thanks! I try to leave behind some marks because I don't like it when everything is perfectly blended and smooth.

Comrade_Hero, I would love to take a stab at Graviton Girl and/or Comrade Hero if you allow me. Did you have a particular scene in mind? Impressive art collection, btw.

Please send me references, and if you and an artist agree on something--let me know so I can update the list.

OK, sent a note to Daggerpoint with links to Jotunn and WhitePeregrine's screenies.

Which means you two are on deck for more info about the drawing! if he accepts those two. So... be prepared to say what you'd like him to draw, within limits of course.

And I'm THINKING, whichever one Foo decides to pass on inking and coloring? to commission a colorist for it. But not sure, have to check my bank balance. Not gonna say who, right yet. Don't want to steal anyone's thunder.

Sure thing. Graviton Girl and Comrade Hero were my first heroes. I like the idea of them being teamed up like "World's Finest" by DC. One of the images that springs to mind is Last Son of Krypton

These are probably a little beyond my skill set,

Jackie Spines & Lady Cieslak
Torell 2
Junkyard King
Thor's Assassin -- Moment of Weakness
Lord of Vahalla

Of what's left and has previews, I think are doable. Just note me if anyone wants one done.

From the Junkyard King:

Hey there ddgryphon (or should I say Secretary of Satisfaction),

First of all, thanks for taking the time to compile that list of “lost” commissions over on the CoH boards. That couldn’t have been easy.

I’m the guy who created the “Junkyard King” character (his reference pic is on your list) but have since cancelled my account so I can’t post on the boards anymore. I was wondering if you could do me a favor and post in the “Satisfaction” thread on my behalf, if you don’t mind of course. I just wanted to let all the artists in the thread know that I’m happy with anyone taking a crack at the King if they’re interested. Since I can’t post I can’t really take up any open offers being made in the thread so I thought I’d give my character a little more exposure. I’ve waited almost 2 years now for MMOART without getting anything so I’m itching to get something done if anyone is interested.

Thanks a lot for doing what your doing and thank the artists for me too if you find the time to post something for me.

- Jesse

I'll colour the Peregrine lines from Daggerpoint. I emailed ddgryph, but he hates me and doesn't respond.

OK. Thanks Foo.

Jotunn and WhitePeregrine:

I need pose/concept info! Dagger's asking what y'all want him to draw.

I'm echoing Soul Train, WP where are ya buddy? D:

I've got approval from Hyper on the pencils for her piece, so I'm moving foward with that one in about a weeks time.

I'm sorry, but I haven't gotten an e-mail. I'll edit the page though and get that fixed.

Just sent you a pm with the details, Soul. Thank you.

Should I actively look for the owners without references? Has everyone been made aware of this effort?

Okay, now a big question for the artists:

What are we going to do now that we have more art needed than time donated? What you've done is already so giving and generous I don't want to sound like I'm berating you or brow beating you in any way. But there are a number of images with no artists stepping up to do them--many with references that still haven't been claimed (cue Island of Misfit Toys music).

What I will suggest is that you consider asking anyone you know who might be interested in doing one or two pieces. That's how McKinney came to this project.

Again, you are already overwhelmingly generous with both your time and talent. Please consider seeing if someone you know is feeling generous too.

I kind of see this as a movement that will stick around for a bit (at least I hope so). Maybe the others aren't claimed now, but if we keep the thread active, they eventually will be. I know I would gladly take on more right now if I wasn't already as committed as I can be. Once it can be in a reasonable time frame, I'll do another unclaimed piece.

I'm just trying to be careful about time so we don't have a thread like this about my site...
