I really like the name Volcana. That's a good one!
What's her origin? I use that as a basis for my costumes. Magic, for instance, means anything goes, but a Tech origin requires at least a nod to the devices/equipment used to achieve the character's abilities.
For my Fire Controller John Bull (see sig under "J"), he's magic and British, so I based his costume on classic British colors with the fire design as the theme.

I've already had the character for several months as a SS/Fire Brute and really have no plans on modeling the character after the DC one. And no, I had no clue of that character's existence until just now, so I didn't get my idea from there. It was just a nice fire-themed name I was very surprised to find unavailable. If someone reports it, someone does and I'll change.
Character is a mutant. Remaking and using the name for the older sister of my Fire/Fire Blaster who was a Fire/Rad Controller at one time, but I prefer the matching sets.

Yeah, Volcana might not last. It's good you're prepared for a possible change.
My brother had 2 different characters GenericHero'd for names that were *similar* to existing properties. One of them was lvl 48, too. In both cases, the names weren't even the same as anything trademarked, but all it takes is one complaint.
Well, I understand the issues with the name and all, but could I still get some help with costume ideas? Whatever her name ends up as, she'll still be a mutant Fire/Thermal Controller, so any good ideas that go with that would be great.
I need some help coming up with an interesting costume for my new Fire/Thermal Controller, Volcana, as I can't seem to come up with anything on my own after working for the last week as nothing I make really catches my eye. Was hoping that someone here might be inspired enough to help me out?
Sorry I don't have any other details to help out, I haven't really worked them out, so just anything that seems to fit the powers and name. Or not even, be as creative as you want! I have access to all the pieces a starting character would have too.
