Sorry but i just gotta double post this!

I posted this on my server forums earlier just wanted to give some art more exposure.Plus this is something kinda different in the realm of art. enjoy!

About 2 months ago i had a statue commissioned of my main character Scanner. The sculptor finished it about 2 weeks ago but i have been kinda lazy about getting the pix up.

My sculptor did an amazing job, given what reference material i gave him.

I really like the detail that he put into the flack vest and face especially. While the skin color is a few shades off it really does not detract from the overall look of the statue at all i believe.

I'd like to hear everyones comments on this. I mena does this take the nerd crown for at least the day for having done this?

I really liked the face....the cheeks looked awesome. The little veins in the arm was a nice touch as well.
I'd of liked to see more shading on the costume but that's just me. Very cool though.

thanks for the comments. the paintjob is where i think could use the most improvement, however he had mentioned to me that this was his 2nd attempt with a new airbrushing technique.

He's cute. I want to stick him to my dashboard.
