Thinking of getting art...

I'm thinking of getting some art done of some creations I and my friends have on City of Heroes. The problem is, I don't know who to contact about the kind of work I want done. I'm picturing in my mind some simple work, mostly just the creations posing, no action shots. I'm a fan of Jim Lee, Ed Benes, McGuinness, Michael Turner, & Van Sciver. I've looked through Deviant Art for someone who matches any of these styles, and haven't found many. I know "City" has some of the best artists around, so I'm looking for some help. If someone can point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it.

it honestly depends on what you want to pay and how long you want in regards to turn around .

Juggs does some really nice work at very manageable prices and has a very fast turn around

The same can be said for LadyJudgement

but I luv all our artists so of course im totally unbiased

someone will likely post the CoH artists link and my suggestion is to peruse that and see if anyone jumps out atcha and if they do drop them a PM

Check the Pinned (stickie-ed) thread at the top of this forum entitled "The Network - A resource " by Thor's Assassin

In it, among other things, you'll find "commissionable artists" and all kinds of fan art goodness.

Yes Thor's Assassin has done us all a great service!

However you should know Juggy's way faster than me, and is one of the few I would classify as a collector's style. Meaning once you've had others do your toon, you will have to add one of his, because it's like rounding out your collection with great variety and quality...

Btw you have very good taste, expensive tastes too!

Someone should write a collectors guide, hint hint hint! ------> TA or Turboski.... or post Bayani's.
