Help with a basic Wyvern-ish costume

I have a character whose background is ex-Wyvern. I've had an awful time coming up with something passably Wyvern-ish in the Costume Creator.

If anyone can give me an idea for a couple of the costume pieces that would start me in the right direction, I'd be very appreciative.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Use the Vanguard Helm (under Hats); for the pants use Tucked In with either some Invention Boot or the Justice Boots and....that's what I can get right now; will look further into this when I get home.

A question, tho:

As an ex-Wyvern, why would he still dress as a Wyvern.
It's not like the Wyvern clothes were stitched to his body forever...

You might try the new Jester face piece. Use the one with the long nose and match your colors to the helmet.

Spino, I think he's looking for Wyvern inspired rather than Wyvern copy. I did the same thing once with an ex-Sky Raider character.

I know frosty, but that something I've always found strange (and I did it myself, I had a former skull looking like a skull)

Think of it, why would a former skull dress and make up like a skull ?

The only way I do "former" characters is to develop their look beyond where they came from. If it's just clothes, I don't bother. It has to be something more, like my toon Gardvord. He's a cleaned-up Troll in better clothes, but he can't change his underlying physique.

My other one is Powerhawk, whose outfit is the basis for Crey's power armor. In that case, his look is the antecedent rather subsequent one.

perhaps the hero in question is poor as dirt and cant afford new hero togs?

...although really not all that uncommon. to take an existing suit of an organization and adapt slightly. its that sort of instant recognition..."aaah...somehow related to "x" organization". this is not really a bad thing...just another way to carry the point that the character in question hails from some organization in a visual sorta way. do they have to? naaah...just one of those concept things....~

My former Skull infiltrates the Skulls who work the streets. Falling in behind the last guy... and... dododododododododo! WACK! Bat to the head!

Here are a couple of Wyvern-ish costumes I tried out a while ago, like a year ago... Quiet American 1

I have a former Skull (an idea that I originally suggested to LJ) Thugs/Dark MM. He looks enough like a Skull to be recognizable as one but different enough to be obviously different. He's taking his cell in a new direction. The Skulls just aren't ambitious enough for him or his followers.

Look in the canon thread for Wyvern costumes. I think that's where Monkey put a zip file of his Wyvern costumes he's done. They look great and I use them on my Archery based ideas with slight modifications when I don't have a costume part he had on one.

Here's just an idea for ya. Use tucked in pants with Valkyrie boots, cyborg hat with a retical, Justice gloves, Valkyrie shoulders, a T shirt and the Praetorian chest piece. It should look ok and be some what Wyvernish but yet not Wyvern. So a separate group of Wyvern like how you said ex- Wyvern.
