your graphics card/CPU are potentially overheating. go open the case and hunt dust bunnies.

It's still very likely a graphics card problem. I had the same thing happen about 6 months ago. It was infrequent at first, but the longer I did nothing, the worse and more frequent it became. I eventually had to RMA the entire card. (This is after doing the same with my PSU, since they insisted that was the problem...)
