Rating: First Drawing with a Tablet
Looks pretty good! I'm in the same boat myself, having bought a tablet recently, and I think I'm still more comfortable scanning in penciled works, inking with line-fill tools and path stroking, and just using the tablet for shading/coloring and fine detail work. I'm not so confident yet to post anything I've done here yet, but perhaps soon.
I'm still looking around at what methods others here use to come up with the fantastic finished art they create.

I still use Pencil and Paper most times and have had a Tablet for 4 or 5 years, Electronite. Its something about the feel of the pencil although my new Bamboo tablet has a better feel to it just not willing to give up paper yet.
Also don't worry Post something I don't think anyone here will give you and flak. Some C+C is always good.
On the tablet drawing it looks good. Do you have it set for pressure and try out different brushes with different angles. I don't know what program you are using but experimenting by just drawing lines helps a lot.
Personally I've been using Adobe Flash - since it's the only thing I've got better than Paint - and so far the only thing I can really say is a big difference from pencil and paper is that I can't actually see if my hand is getting near the spot I need, save that the cursor helps a lot. I set the parameters to only be able to draw on the stage, and use the scroll bars. ^_^;
I wanted to test out my tablet, and drew a teaser of my Stone/Axe Tanker, War Megaton. It's my first work on the computer without the mouse, and I was hoping to get some opinions on the overall result.

Here it is, in all its .PNG glory.
How does it look?
