Gotta say I love the robotic bartender idea. I'm at work so I can't post my bar. But I will take some shots as soon as I get home.

I haven't mastered the magic desk yet to make tons of space for alcohol. But our SG is small, so it's not a super-large bar anyway.

And just what would we be wantin' with posh bars like that? I jus' don't see how ye can be comfortable when you sink into yer chairs like that.

Meet the Slaughtered Lamb:

'Tis a quiet bar and what my patrons do here is thier own business. Probably why we attract a seedier crowd, but we do have proper facilities if ye can't keep your liquor.

... We're a little low on electricity fer' the moment. Small guild ya see so don't bring in much income. But 'tis our home and I have a strange hankerin' my guildmates are gettin' to like it this way.

We light up the bar proper so no one can steal the smaller bottles. None too worried about someone runnin' off with my kegs.. 'cept the large evil red bunny we have, but he's hard ta' miss.

I 'lso keep a light by the stairs. Some...accidents have a been happenin lately with the stairs and my patrons not bein' able ta' walk straight. I got sick of cleanin' up the blood every few days so maybe it'll help.

Don't step in that on yer way out. It's been there a while and no one has cleaned the floor since last week. I'll git ta it in the mornin' though. Now go away! I don't see ye purchasin' anythin' so git!

Wow! The Beach thing is just awesome, and I love the boardwalk effect you acheived. I got my bathing suit, I'm coming over! :-)

OOOOH! You can do a sand pit fire... like for roasting pigs and the like :-)

Done already, well a bonfire Hopefully later today I can get the whole base up in the Base Pic thread later today.

The War Crows recently built a Sushi Shop and Bar, manned by the finest Tsoo chefs we could capture... er... hire, I mean.

Unfortunately, the Tsoo tried to renegotiate their contracts (escape) and were accidentally cut down (targeted) by the automated defenses. We are now looking for help in the kitchen.

Thanks Cap and Plasma... it's one of the things that sold me on the idea of making the room, actually. Once it popped into my head, everything else fell into place.

Well, it ain't perfect, but here are two suggestions...
Lower tech version
High Tech (good facing)
High Tech (bad facing)

I like the first best - and it is very cool watching the electricity rise... It's kinda like Frankenstein's volleyball net :-)

The Sushi Shop is stunning! Very nicely pulled off! I love "hiding" the pots for the plants under the stone plinths, and I really like the garden wall. Using the ranps as the sneeze-guard is awesome.
