All this nonsence with freaking paypal really got me bummed out.
Dang...Paypal got hacked...man, that totally sucks. I use Paypal to pay for almost everything...so I can imagine how hard it must be. Can't you get it straightened out with the bank/credit card though...since they're kinda acting as a relay point?

Although I notice that it does vary on the artist, one thing seems to hold true...you get what you pay for...unless you catch an artist that JUST started doing it...in those cases, you can get some incredibly pieces for cheap as heck.

Well when I was on the phone with customer support trying to fix my dads problem I mentioned but when I gave her my name she couldn't find it so i really dunno wassup with that. I deleted screen name that the account was on because I kept getting emails from ebay and banks to change my info and I still get them on my main screen name so dunno what else to do. can't delete it like i did with the other but at least I won't be getting anymore emails from ebay after I spoke with them
A price range. I'm not throwing any names out here, but you guys know who's produces quality work here in the CoX community.
Taste and art style are factors as well. I could do it myself, but I'd still hire Alex Ross if I had major coin to drop. There's something kewl about other artists doing your character.

Agreed. David Ross would be awesome...I'd still vouch for David Finch though or Bryan Hitch though.
Like I said it depends on the Artist. Juggs and LJ do quality work for a good price so does CB it all depends on preference.
Oh btw...just wondering but what kind of style, media type (digital/traditional), and price range are you aiming for?

Comic style digital if I can get prints if not then traditional. I have about 150 at my disposal. I wanted to get a few characters from juggs but been having problems with paypal.
This maybe a silly idea, but what about Western Union? We have Money Mart here in Canada that uses them, not sure what Juggy has in Korea?
If Juggs is cool with it and has a western union close to him then yea I would do that.

I like a measure of realism from an artist with good grasp of light and shadow. Medium is optional as any can acheive this if done correctly.

Wolfgangraven did the first. Freiheit did the second. just stop by my DA they are in my favorites. I thought about Graver since I loved what he did With Gideon. One of the characters I have in mind would look really nice but I am short. and I want to try and get art of a few characters rather than one.
Edit Ok I did not know he lowered the price of the water colors But if I want more than one character my best bet would be the digital unless he does simple water colors and can do it with other characters Man what to do. Come to think of it I have enough money to pay half of a complex piece. So I think I will do that. thanks Star. (((((BIG HUGS))))))

I got quite a bit of money on me and was wondering if anyone could suggest any artists. I checked mmoart and guildhelper but can't afford them at the moment. I would like to get some more art for my gallery if anyone can help.
