We have some great guides here now, but we're still one of the only forums without a guide sticky.

Think we have enough resource and guide links to make one worthwhile?

Post your base guides/resource links/etc. here and we'll see about getting them consolidated. I remember an effort along these lines in the past but don't recall what came of it.

Guide to Base Teleporters

I looked at all the base guides and either they were too technical and rambled on wasn't what I was looking for. I just want a fully functional non raiding maxed out base on the standard free plot size. So what all would I need to do that? Is it even possible? I don't need a teleporter to every zone, just the hubs. Full med services and crafting would be nice as well. Can anyone help or point me in the right direction? Computers and technology are NOT my friends O.o

Define what the "hubs" are.

I had a base (recently gave it to a friend) that had 2 work rooms, 3 teleporter rooms (with 11 beacons), an infirmary, a control room, and a power room. Total value was around 2.5 million prestige or so.

Guide to Base Teleporters

A hub is one zone that branches to many others, an example would be atlas park. Instead of sticking a porter to all the branches you could save a lot of space and resources by putting in one for atlas and just walk to the branch. I don't know all the zones that well which is why I said atlas but I know there are more out there espically on the villian side that are like that.

Yeah, I know what you meant by hub, but I am asking which ones do you want? I recommend (for the small base): Atlas Park, Kings Row, Talo Island, Independence Port, Brickstown, Peregrine Island, Perez Park, and Steel Canyon. The base I mentioned would have room for four more, for which I would add on: Founders Falls, Dark Astoria, The Hollows, and Skyway.

Guide to Base Teleporters

Ahh I see, well I haven't been everywhere yet or know all the layouts so the least amount of porters to go to most places. I'm trying to get enough prestige to max out the free plot size you get. I don't care about raiding but want to max out healing, crafting, etc so that it's still an effective base.

I've got a few questions myself. In order to help the sg I'm in with the constuction of the base, where do we get things like Teleporters, medical facilities and a salvage vault. I mean, being that I'm one of the two highest rangs in the SG I want to help out the leader. Its probably listed on here somewhere, but way too much stuff to read and I only have 8 hours of work lol.

And of course I also want to know how to make the base larger.

Teleporters are made from salvage. The rest of the items you listed are purchased off the appropriate tabs in the edit menu.

You have to be in a room that accepts the item before the appropriate tab will appear.
