Kaega floated in the lotus position. His body was in the dimension spanding DWC base, but his mind was without. It searched the spaces between worlds, between dimensions, between ideas. Thoughts? Bloodlust? BATTLE?
Kaega's mind followed the thoughts while his body let out one word hissed through hollow breath, "Husssssk." His mind snapped back to his body rattling his teeth. He reached around and picked up his sword, his hand gripping the hilt, the spiked hand guard gleaming with a pale silver light in the solid darkness of the room. He stood and the silver light seemed to move like molten fire down from the hilt casting an eerie radiance up from the serated blade.
He smiled in the darkness, his teeth had been filed to points long ago, the light from his blade sent flitting embers of silver light across his scarred and battered face. He reached out with his mind toward someone he had come to consider a sister. "Shaakti. Who are our agents that are in the field now?" His thoughts floated out into the aether toward their intended location.
The sweetly resounding thoughts came back to him "So you have already felt the bloodlust in the air? I believe the agent you want is Jonas. He had a run in with Husk Lord Poe."
Kaega smiled even larger "Poe? Yes I know which lord you speak of. I believe Jonas will need some help. I think I shall go to battle."
Shaakti laughed a little over the aether "Yes I believe you will go to battle. How long has it been since you have quenched the thirst of your blade, a few hundred years?"
He grimly chuckled "That and then some. So where is my little Darkin?
Shaakti went back to business [i]"He is currently in St. Martial."

The arsonist rolled his eyes.
"The whole concept of three on one really bothers me here..."
Motnahp remained silent, although he agreed with the pencil-thin giant.
"So would you prefer to have ALL of them fight us three, all at once?" Poe asked.
"Oh no, I never implied that." Xabu said quickly. "But you cannot tell me that the only resolution then would be one on three. That's just cowardice."
There was a lengthy silence.
"Three on three?" Motnahp suggested.
"Fine." Poe spat. "Whatever."
Xabu looked a good deal happier.
"And what was that part about the others?" He asked.
"They will proceed normally." Poe said simply. "So now we simply wait for them to arrive. And don't YOU have a certain someone to be?" He snapped at Motnahp.
"Multitasking." The Mind Reaper stated calmly.
"I don't care, I want everything you have leveled on him. Now. Go." The arsonist snarled.

Build smacked his lips as he dipped another jalapeno into his bucket of ice cream. He had been running computer simulations the entire time he had been eating, he had even made his nanotech run a full body diagnostic the results of wich turned out that he had a small planet in his stomach.
He yawned stretching his right hand up to block his mouth. His wrist panel beeped and flipped open. Shaakti was on the other end and got a good view of Build's esophogus.
"That's so gross. Did you really eat all of that crap? Why am I even asking, of course you did. Have you found anything conclusive about the ooze yet?" She asked suppressing a shudder at the mixtures of food Build had eaten.
"Not yet. I felt a presence leave the base. . . .did you let Kaega out of his cage?" Build asked
"You should know as well as the rest of us, nobody keeps Kaega in a cage. Yes, he left earlier. He said he was going to help Jonas with his little Poe problem. . . .the Dark World help that guy if he pisses Kaega off." Shaakti said suppressing a laugh at the idea of Poe fighting Kaega.
"Yeah I see your point. I hope Jonas remembers his manners when dealing with that psycho." Build said refering to Kaega
"You're one to talk about somebody being a psycho with the crap you eat. Get back to work, I'll check on you later." Shaakti said as she terminated the transmission.
"Looks like I gotta get back to work." Build said lazily rubbing his stomach.

"Hello little Darkling," said a voice that sounded like boulders cracking.
Jonas turned around, shock visable on his face. He saw the thin, yet heavily muscled swordsman, leaning against a building as if he didn't have a care in the world. Jonas quickly bowed to Kaega, "I am sorry First Rook. I didn't realize you had decided to join in the coming battle."
Kaega gave a crooked smile, contorting the scars on his face, "I couldn't pass up the oportunity to soak my blade in the blood of Husk.," He looked around at the others, namely Power Breaker, and gave a little laugh, "Jonas, I didn't realize you traveled in such company. This is the esteemed Power Breaker, It is an honor to fight along side a warrior of your calibur."
Jonas turned to the others and whispered under his breath, "Show respect to him if nothing else, this man has fought in more battles than many of us know existed. Breaker, don't take his praise lightly. When he says something like that he not only means it, he expects it returned in kind."

Bladewing's ears perked up as he heard Energon X's transmission over the mystic systems.
Floating in sitting lotus inside a sphere, covered in runes of every shape and description, Bladewing opened his eyes.
"Sounds like Energon found some fun, and if it involves Husk Corp, then theres no way I'm going to miss this."
Bladewing stood up, closed his eyes, and began to chant, the intonations causing the runes on the outside of the sphere to glow black.
Next to Energon X, a black rune appeared in the air. That rune split into thousands of other runes, forming concentric circles. Those circles then began to rotate and spin, forming a spherical doorway of darkness, from which Bladewing stepped.
"Hey Energon, heard you were going to have a little throw down with Poe and Husk Corp, I havent tangled with them in ages and I felt bored...count me in."
"Oh and I brought enough explosives to make the Apocalypse ashamed of itself."

Power Breaker emerged from the ferry in Nerva Archipelago. He was actually surprised that the trip had gone by so uneventfully. It was actually sort of pleasant, aside from the quick moment where a group of Coralax decided to raid the ship, but it happened to be a heavy load of rogues, so they were dealt with in short order (for a hefty price, of course).
Power Breaker looked over the peculiar relic in his hand. Some sort of puzzle box. The driver had dozens of trinkets like it, and apparently there were some items that could be built from them. Even though Breaker had built some, he didn't have the slightest idea what this thing could be used for.
"Eh, it'll probably sell well."
When the rest of the rogues following him arrived, he decided it was a good time to settle on the more immediate plan.
"Alright, guys and girls... I and one other are going to see Naylor. The rest of you I want to go and gather up whatever and whoever you want to bring along on this little invasion. We meet back here when done."
He folded his arms and waited for his volunteer.
"I've never done anything like this before... Heck, why am I even doing this?"
Plausible Answer: Revenge.
"For what?"
Unknown variable. The Rogue named Poe represents an unusual threat. No memory indicates that Poe had inflicted any kind of harm to the Self, but stress levels heighten in the indicated Rogue's presence.
"So... I'm annoyed..."
Plausible.
"Is that why I feel like I'm handling this wrong?"
Plausible.
"Well... It's the only way I've got left to handle it. Poe won't talk to me, so I gotta knock some sense into him."
Analysis of the motivations of Self's companions indicate a desire to bring about Poe's demise. Is this an acceptable outcome?
"Not necessarily, but I think he can take it. I'm just a little worried about what will happen if he does die..."
The nanites played back the conversation most pertinent to Poe dying. The voice of Noitpeced rattled through Power Breaker's mind again. Funny, he didn't remember the guy sounding so pleasant.
"I must have hyped up how bad Husk Corporation is..."

"I'll go with you." Darkvapor said, stepping forward to follow Power Breaker. "I'm good with this kind of thing."
For the first time today Darkvapor smiled.
It was kind of creepy.
Getting over that however he made sure to keep his eyes peeled for Poe. No doubt the Husk Lord was already plotting some devious little trap.
"Alright," Breaker nodded to Darkvapor, "No sense in wasting time, let's head out."
And with that, he leaped to the north, heading for Technician Naylor's post next to a mystical portal in the (largely) Oranbegan controlled Thorn Island.
