"Fatal Error" by Graver (Inks, WIP)

So I come home from work and I find this in my deviation watch:

Lucretia de Loccia - Fatal Error

This is turning into all sorts of awesome. I've always loved watching Graver's stuff take shape... but when the character comes from your own fevered brain, you've written the backstory, you've RP'd the character several times... and then you see him work his magic on her...

it brings a tear to your eye.

Two threads, same post:

I love his work. Gorgeous.

Be well, people of CoH.

"Gorgeous" doesn't even come close, BillZ.

I'll let you know what word fits best, when I find it. It might be awhile, I don't know that many languages.... but English is totally inadequate to describe what a maestro Graver is.

This is one of those pieces I just leave on the screen and absorb. I honestly lost track of time looking over all the detail that went into it. One of my absolute favorite pieces Graver has done yet.

Wow.

Graver always sets the stage. Nice job on this man, capturing the backstory and melding it all together for serious emotional over tone; done perfectly.

I love the mood he captures. Very dystopian, and always pleasing.

Those aren't two concepts one usually finds cheek-to-jowl.

True, but I have a love for Dystopian stories, art, and concepts - not sure why since my art is usually so clean and upbeat. But, someday, I want to do some truely dark stuff with strong mood and Graver is already there. He's inspiring me to dig up some old ideas I have.

I have a few CoH characters who are born in darkness and one whose career will end very darkly indeed. It's good to have the balance. But "pleasing?" Hrm...
