But I see a few more in there ... and well ... I'm curious.
I'm going to guess the guy with the mask is the basic form the boy takes when he becose a super hero. Does it have a name?

Then there is green sound wave and pidgeon boy in the back ... I would love to get those 2's names too if possible. Oh ... and which one is Telly?

(( Sorry if that came out all jumbled but I'm kinda busy but curious ))

All in all ... as I said on your DA page ... I have followed this project from the start, it was one of the most beautiful act of generosity from everyone and this is such a nice piece to cap it off.

Great work Gill!

It's cool Thornster. I was actually given a new revised list of characters for this group piece:

boy is 9 year old Tyler
Ice.E
Speed
Flame
Smart Guy
Spark
The Hero - powers are mix of all heroes
Loudo - sonic scream
Flyer
Spike
Fang - like a walrus
Strength
Tackle
W.W. (WaterWorks)
Stretch
Shape

Its a really great piece.
But I have to say it, I really really wish that they didnt have matching costumes as well as the X all over. It simply reeks of teh x-men.
Still the piece is great.

Everything about this group piece is inspired by existing characters Static's son likes (X-Force Life and the X logo is definitely reminiscent of the X-Men, the red uniforms are similar to The Incredibles, and the concept of a boy turning into all these heroic characters is inspired from Ben10). For a 9... err now 10 yr. old though, I'd say he did a good job overall trying to turn the familiar into a new idea of his own.

I commented on dA, but I must say, this is SICKNASTY!!!!!!!!!!!! (That is good! XD) I really like this, an instant +fav!

Actually, I like the costumes and the X. The red, white, and X unify them all, but then they all kind of have their own form of their uniform, which I just adore in supergroups.

Again, awesome work, Gill, can't wait to see more group pics completed in the future!

Gill-

Fantastic work, sir! The composition (which is TOUGH for that many characters) is outstanding and the colors leap off the page! Static Thunder's son must be beaming with pride

I was going to say, it looks like a nice symmetric Iconic composition to me, which is just flat-out an excellent choice for this sort of thing, especially when executed so well.
